Holy Thunder Firms As Puppy Champs Favourite

Under pleasant sunny conditions coursing was conducted in fine style by the hard working Lang Lang Coursing Club Committee, with only a small hiccup occurring during the day. Some excellent coursing took place with Richie Adderley getting all greyhounds slipped to perfection. Well done, Ritchie.

We had an excellent response from people to support these events this week with a few surprises, we look forward to the continuance of these events next week.

Holy Thunder having her first coursing start performed admirabily for Bev Beesley. The remaining puppies in the Championship have coursed well during the season.

Mexico in the Gippsland Cup for John Barlow has been most unlucky up to date but it was great to see him win today. The other contenders have performed well with limited opportunities at coursing.

The well supported Ray Boundy Memorial Cup had some outstanding greyhounds engaged with a few surprises.

To all participants best of luck next weekend and things are looking good for the 2008 NCAV Waterloo Cup to be conducted at Lang Lang on Saturday 30th & Sunday 31st August, 2008.
