THURSDAY'S meeting will see some of the state's best chasers chasing metropolitan coin, making it a terrific night to have a flutter on some quality greyhounds.

Many people will be tuning in to watch Kalden Legenda (race four) and Alderley (race eight). The former is going for his ninth win on the trot, while the latter will be aiming to secure his eighth win from his past nine starts and both greyhounds look to be live chances.

Lets hear what our tipster Brad Bugeja had to say about both of them as well as some of the other leading contenders across the eleven event card.

If you think Brad might be on the money, open an account with William Hill for up to $700 in bonus bets to place on his selections.

Good race to kick off the night and I think the well-drawn Red Can will get the job done. He is normally a very reliable beginner and he races best when dawn off the track. There is plenty of speed drawn underneath and I'm expecting them to shuffle up underneath, so that should allow him to swoop into the first turn and assume control as they head for the back straight.

Barnes Bay also looks well placed in the red and he turned in a mammoth performance when placed here last week. He led them up but the very strong Coorong Kid got to him quickly and he still managed to fight on well. If he happens to hold them out early tonight he will prove hard to hold out. Blurred Lines is a super talent but he must lead clearly to win his races, if he pings the lids he is a serious winning chance but there is a fair bit of speed around him so I'm not willing to take short odds. Getty Bale is the only other winning hope, she has a top record here and if she balances up in the top three she should be there at the end.

Aussie Noorumba is blessed with a turn of foot and with an empty draw on his outside he should get every chance to display it. Two starts back he posted a strong 30.11 win here when coming from off the speed. I think he can lead tonight and the last time he found the lure he scorched around here in 29.76. He will be around the even money mark and he looks a good bet tonight.

Wayne's Error should match motors with or sit just behind the favourite in the early stages and he should fill the quinella spot. He has the ability to beat the favourite but he will need to do everything right in the early stages. Rellim Allan can show early speed at times and he broke the 30 second barrier when winning her on Monday, he exited the red on that occasion so he will need some luck from the wide draw tonight. Aston Trott rounds out the place chances, he can be hard to follow at times but he does have talent and he should be afforded a clear run in the early stages.

Long Gully Stevie has been absolutely flying in recent weeks and she should be leading from go to whoa from the good draw. Two starts back she reeled off brilliant sectionals when scoring here in 30.05 and a repeat performance will see her win with ease.

Banjo Blaze was placed in sizzling time here last week and with a clear run she could reel the pink in, my concern with her is that she can be slow to begin and she may get shuffled back in the early stages. Dyna Rukia is a reliable beginner and she should be in the mix for a long way, she lacks a bit of mid race speed but she will come again in the straight, so she is a must for your exotic bets. Irish Keepsake returned to form with a strong 30.92 win and she must be respected, she can find a lot of trouble at times but she will hit the line solidly.

Astronomic is a highly talented speedster and if he is given a clear passage in the first 30 metres or so he will take a power of beating. He has a bit of speed drawn underneath but no speed drawn on the outside, so he should get every chance to muster speed. Two starts back he destroyed a classy lineup when winning at Gawler in 30.56 and if you can land around the $2.40 mark that is big over's.

Kalden Legenda is a reliable beginner and he has won eight on the trot. His winning times haven't been overly impressive and I'm a little worried that with the rise in class tonight he may get reeled in late. Yambla Mick returned to the winners list with a sizzling 22.24 win here over 388 metres and if he gets away cleanly he can score again. He can be hard to follow at times but if he goes around at big odds he could be worth a saver bet. Merlot Monelli rounds out the chances, he rarely wins here but he is never far away.

He's A Villian loves racing over this track and trip and he should make up for his luckless performance here last week. He has no speed at all drawn around him tonight, so if he steps away on terms he should be able to drive through and assume control at the first bend. He has a scorching 34.81 PB over this trip, so if he finds the top early he should be winning.

Ash Flash is a very slow beginner and she will be giving them a bit of a head start, however she has turned in two terrific performances here in recent weeks and she is getting very close to another win. Freesia Bale is aiming for a hat trick of wins and if she can cross from the wide draw she should get every chance, my only concern is that if she hesitates early she will be posted wide for most of the journey. Rained could be the value, he is never far away in his races and from the red draw he should be able to settle a lot closer to the speed than normal.

Excusez Moi should be suited to the wide draw and she is dropping considerably in class tonight. She is normally a very good beginner and with a keen railer drawn underneath she should get a nice cart into the race. She has a sizzling 29.77 PB here and with any sort of luck she should be winning.

Sunday Shoes is a class act when on song and she has returned to form with two strong Mount Gambier wins of late. She is likely to settle back in the field early but she will power home and she could be value. Woodside Jagger is armed with a great turn of foot and if he is able to boot through early he could take some stopping, he was dragged down at a crucial stage last week when he was about to lead so with some luck he could make a big impact. Aston Archer and Dr. Kiaralee must be included in your quaddies, both are poorly drawn but they have the talent to win a race like this.

Taser Mcbain is a very reliable beginner and she was far from disgraced when placed here last week. She should have the speed to cross in the early stages and she should be running around the 30 flat mark on the lure. At around the $6.50 mark she appears to be great value.

Cash In Looper is suited to the wide draw and with a clear passage he will be winning. My concern with him is that there is an even amount of speed drawn in the middle and when shuffle up at the first bend he may get pushed wide. He clearly has the class edge and just needs an ounce of luck in running. Punishment will be well supported and he is clearly a great chance, he can bomb the start at times but he is resuming after a month off so he should be primed for a bold showing. Hector Kahn must also be respected, he is drawn to settle in the top two early and he did record a solid placing here last week.

Alderley Reform has won seven of his past eight and he should continue on his winning way. He is normally a good beginner and with the wide running Yiche drawn on his outside he should be afforded a clear passage in the early stages. He won't be flashy odds but he should take a power of beating.

Coorong Kid turned in a strong performance when winning here last week in a slick 29.88 and if he can avoid Yiche in the early stages he should be in the finish again. His box manners can sometimes let him down but he does possess a wonderful turn of foot. Yiche is expected to lead and she is rarely far away in this class, there are a couple of strong types in this event so I dont think she can win but she is a must for your exotics. Young Gun Mcbain has the speed to settle in the top three and he should give a great sight, if he is each way odds he could be worth an investment.

Ollington has won four of seven over this journey and he should be making every post a winner tonight. There is a little bit of speed drawn around him but he is normally very reliable early and if given room in the first 30m he should burn them off. He has a brilliant 29.77 PB and none of his rivals can get anywhere near that.

Kalden Viseron is going to ease as they head through the first turn but if he can balance up in the top four he should finish in the placings, he has been very unlucky of late and there is no doubting that he has plenty of talent. Blu Light Banjo should go with the favourite for most of the journey and she will give a cheeky sight, her last 50m isn't very strong so place claims do look best. Kingda Kahn rounds out the chances, he was smartly placed here two runs back and he can show early speed in his races.

Black Bottle is dropping considerably in class tonight and from the red draw he should be leading all the way. He is better suited to a wider draw but he has great early speed and with an even getaway he should be able to burn them off.

Viral Bale is the run on type in the event and he shouldn't be too far away at the end. Last week he unleashed a big finishing burst when runner up and a similar effort tonight will see him feature. Pelican Keeping is armed with early speed and he returned to the winners list with a top win here on Monday, he is better suited to a rails draw but apart from the red there isn't a lot of speed in this event so he should put himself into contention.

I think we can find some value in the final race, Dyna Priscilla is a lid pinger and she is perfectly placed in the wide draw. She isn't overly strong but she should be able to clear them at the first bend and she will take some catching if she finds the top as they head for the back straight.

Christie's Boy caught the eye with a strong 30.15 win here last week and on that occasion she reeled in the talented Lady Xanthe who franked the form with a slick win here yesterday. Ilys Bale has a lot of talent but she can do a lot of things wrong in her races, I would prefer her from a wide draw and I think place claims appear best tonight. Go Geronimo rounds out the winning chances, he has been racing in much stronger class of late and he looks suited in this company.
