Tough race but I think Black Bottle has the speed to find the early lead and if he can get across he should prove too classy for this lot. There is a fair bit of speed drawn around him but he normally has great box manners so he should put himself into contention.

Freesia Bale hit the line powerfully in her brilliant 29.98 win here last time and she should prove hard to hold out again. She doesn't have a great winning record but she has been racing with a lot more consistently of late and she should get a nice sit just behind the speed.

Wowza Lee should follow Black Bottle across in the early stages and if he can settle in the top three early he will be right in the finish. He isn't overly strong but he has turned in some great efforts here of late.

Sound Effort could be the value, he hasn't had much luck since her 30.05 win here four runs back and he is drawn to figure prominently throughout.

Getty Bale was far from disgraced when placed here last week and I think she can go one better, she is blessed with solid early speed and if she can hold a top three spot in the early stages she may just run over the top in the closing stages. The six is going to be extremely short but I think he will get posted wide for most of the journey so Getty Bale might just steal the race.

Warrior Of Oz has the speed to lead the event and he could sneak away mid race. Three starts back he scored a handy 30.38 victory here and if he does lead tonight I think he is capable of going a bit quicker .

Lektra Rancher is another with brilliant early speed and he should give a nice sight at odds, his last 40m isn't great but if he is on the lure he will run the trip out much better.

Wheel Spinner is absolutely flying at present and he will be short odds, however I think he is a big risk tonight, I believe he will get posted wide and he will have trouble getting into contention.

Coorong Kid is absolutely flying at present and he powered to the line when scoring here last week in a sizzling 29.73. He isn't a brilliant beginner so that is a small concern but he does muster speed at a rate of knots and if he gets a little room in the first 40m he will take a power of beating. He is likely to be short odds but it's hard to see him getting beat based on his present form.

Boonoona Boy has been a little disappointing in recent times but he has the good draw and with a clean getaway he should be able to push through into a prominent position at the first turn. He is second up from a spell and he should be able to show a lot more zip tonight.

Long Gully Mark has been in career best form in recent months and he should be suited to the wide draw, last week he turned in a strong effort when placed over this journey and with some luck in running he won't be far away again.

Zara Mclaren is a class act and she should be suited by the smaller field. She has been extremely unlucky in her past four starts and with a clear passage in the first 50m she should return to the winners list. She has won 11 of 57 here overall with a further 29 placings and this is by far the easiest race she has contested for quite a while.

Du Plessis looks a lock for the quinella spot, he has recorded four placings from his past five over this journey and from the red he should be able to push through and hold them out early. I dont think he can hold the favourite out but he should have the rest covered.

Mclaren Prince rounds out the trifecta, he turned in a massive effort here three runs back but since then he has been extremely poor.

Sunday Sess is an interesting runner, he comes here with solid Victorian form but his distance credentials aren't great.

Big Zap's recent form doesn't look too appealing but he has shown signs that he is getting close to his best form again. Last time out he was going to settle in a prominent spot early before being dragged down, however he still managed to work home into third spot beaten by less than two lengths. If he can hold a forward spot from the rails draw tonight he should prove far too strong.

Sporting Tears is resuming after six weeks off and if he is at his best he will be right in the mix at nice odds. I can see him finding the rail and early lead with ease and he tends to do his best racing when he is on the lure.

Victa Scott could be value, he was narrowly beaten off the red here last week and he is probably better suited to the wider draw tonight.

Funky Chicken will be well supported and he is obviously a chance, however I think he is a bit of a risk because he tends to want to find the rail soon after box rise.

Another very open race with numerous chasers that show early speed. I know she is poorly draw but I have given the edge to the speedy Margaret Keeping. Three starts back she posted a slick 29.95 victory here and I think if she can repeat that type of run she will prove extremely hard to hold out.

Woodside Jagger has been racing in great heart of late and with some luck early he should be right in the mix, the concern with him is that he can miss away but if he doesn't get crowded he should be able to push through into a threatening position.

Dyna Vanity turned in an eye catching performance when placed here last time and she has come up with the coveted rails draw. My only concern with her is that there is a heap of speed drawn out wide and she might get shuffled back in the run to the first turn.

Inga Bale also isn't without a chance, she has been showing good early speed in her races of late and she appears to be racing with confidence.

Woodnear has won three of his past four in commanding fashion and he looks well placed in this event. He has a chaser who takes a few strides to get going drawn underneath so he should get plenty of room to muster speed and I can see him finding the early lead. In the past he has proven he is capable of running very slick sectionals when on the lure and at the $3 mark tonight he appears to be nice value.

Galilee Spirit is much better than his recent form reads and he could be over the odds tonight, he needs to lead to show his best but he does have a habit of pinging the lids when at nice odds.

Squall Bale will be charging home at the end and he has reeled in some quality chasers in recent weeks, he is going to need some luck mid race but if he gets it he will be right there at the end.

Quality lineup set to do battle and I think Blue Viper can return to the winner's list. She looks ideally placed in the red box and if she can push through and settle in the top two early she should prove too strong in the run to the line. There is a fair bit of speed out wide but there is very little directly outside her, so she should be afforded all the breaks early.

Hailstorm Billy has been solidly placed in his three SA runs and he should be able to follow the red through at the first turn, he is extremely strong in the run to the line and he could be a great place bet.

Allen Illem is another run on type in the event and he must be included in your exotic bets, he is a winning hope but he may be giving them too big of a head start.

Kalden Kapone will start a short priced favourite and he is a genuine chance, however at the odds on quote I am happy to risk him because he does need to lead to win his races.

Red Can has scored some blistering wins here over 515m of late and he appears to be suited to this journey. His box manners are always a concern but with the small field he should be afforded a clear run early and that should allow him to push into a winning position early. He has been beaten in his two previous tries over this trip but he is a much better chaser this time around and this looks his race.

He's A Villian loves racing over this track and trip and he will take some holding out, like Red Can, he can be a little hit or miss early and he will need a few things to go his way as they come across in the run to the first turn.

Yellow Fever is a run on type and he could be value for your exotic bets, Volta Allen rounds out the winning chances, she has the ability to fire to the early lead and she always gives a sight at odds.

Parsec Bale has been racing with very little luck of late and from the pink draw she should have a few more things go her way tonight. She generally shows solid early speed but her asset is her strength, if she can avoid bother at the first bend she should be able to settle mid pack and she will run over the top of them in the home straight.

Kingda Kahn has the talent to lead throughout but I'm a little concerned because he has a railer drawn directly on his outside. If he steps cleanly and avoids crowding he is likely to salute.

Dakota Ruby returned to racing in brilliant fashion with a blistering 29.94 win here last week and a repeat of that run will see her feature, however that is the first time she has pinged the lids and I'm not convinced she can do it two weeks in a row.

Very open affair but I think Wayne's Error can get the job done at nice odds. Two starts back he didn't have much luck over this trip and with slow beginners drawn underneath tonight he should settle a lot closer to the speed and he should be able to show a bit more strength in the run home.

Teenie Bale has turned in a couple of shockers recently but I'm willing to give her one more chance, four starts back she showed smart early speed when narrowly beaten here in good time.

Koko Cabana took forever to win a race and she has now gone back to back, I think she will get too far back early tonight but she is a must for your exotics.

Master Bekim looks to be the only other winning prospect, he is better suited to a wider draw but from the red he might be able to settle a tad closer than normal in the early stages.
