Very open race to kick off the night and I think Mr. Leonardo will have the speed to hold them out and lead all the way. Three starts back he showed tremendous early speed when scoring here in 30.05 and if he can turn in a similar effort tonight that should be enough to score. There is a very even spread of speed draw in the middle, so I'm expecting them to shuffle up behind him at the first turn.

Excusez Moi is racing in great fashion at present and she was far from disgraced when placed here last week and with some luck early she could get the cash at nice odds. She is normally a reliable beginner and she likes to push wide as they head through the bend, so with a good getaway she should be able to push through and balance up in second place.

Dyna Vank is much better than his recent form suggests and he could be the value, he is drawn to get the gun run and he is more than capable of running down the red.

Big Zap is back in form and he will be charging home at the end, the draw makes things difficult but he is racing with great confidence.

Zipping Bart is an extremely strong chaser and this is the weakest race he has contested for quite a while. From the red he should be able to settle around mid field and as they head for the back he should make a strong move. Three starts back he posted a sizzling 30.60 Gawler win and a similar run tonight would see him win with ease.

Red Line Lad led for a long way here last week and he is never far away in this type of class, with no speed underneath he should be able to roll to the early lead again and he will give a great sight.

Freesia Bale must be included in your exotics, she doesn't win very often but she is very strong and she could be a good anchor for second and third in your exotics.

Grande To Excel is much better than his form suggests and if he can step cleanly he should run a big race. He does his best racing when on the and with the lack of speed in this event he should get every chance to lead.

Hailstorm Billy has been desperately unlucky in his past couple of runs but prior to that he did turn in some great placings behind some in form chasers. Once again he hasn't drawn that well but he does get back in his races so it shouldn't pose too many problems, if he can drift across and find the rail soon after the start he should prove hard to hold out.

Danyo's Luke isn't overly strong but he is drawn to lead for a long way, two starts back he showed an explosive turn of foot in his 22.59 Gawler win and he should give a great sight tonight.

Poetic Mover is drawn to get a nice sit just behind the speed and he shouldn't be too far away at the end. He has had a month off racing so he should be fresh and show a little more early zip.

Victa Scott is well drawn out wide and he should run a cheeky race, he has been showing early speed in his races of late and if he can settle in the top two tonight he should be able to hold on for a place.

Sound Effort is armed with great early speed and if he finds the early lead he should give a great sight in his 600m debut. Last time out he hit the line solidly after being headed mid race and that effort gave the indication that the 600m journey should suit. It can be hard to cross from out wide on the bend starts but he has very limited speed underneath so he should get a fairly cheap lead.

Regal Looper has won two of four over this journey and he should be in the mix throughout. Two starts back he posted a sizzling 30.70 Gawler win and on that occasion he powered to the line, so if he can settle in the top two or three he should be right there at the end.

Volta Allen is another on speed chaser and she is racing in very good form at present. She will need to lead again but the if Sound Effort misses away she should be able to find the early lead.

Dakota Joe returned to form with a strong win here on Monday and he can run home into the placings tonight.

Extremely open race and I think we can find some value with the speedy Tribal One. Last week he sizzled through the first section in 4.38 and he led for a long way before getting a little tired in the run home. That was his first run for a couple of months so I'm expecting him to hit the line a lot better tonight.

Wayne's Error is likely to settle back in the field early and he will work to the line solidly. There is a lot of front runners in this race so if he can avoid early bother he should get a nice run through and he will get a chance to run over the top of them late.

Aussie Noorumba appears to be the real deal and he really caught the eye in his blistering 29.81 win here last week. He is still learning the caper but there is no doubting his talent, he just needs an ounce of luck early to feature.

Times Due rounds out the chances, he has won three of four since coming from WA and he has shown he has the ability to lead or come from off the speed to win his races.

Quality final and, after a disappointing effort in her heat, I'm willing to give Ash Flash another chance. She is a classy WA stayer and she got held up a couple of times mid race before running second in her heat. From the red I'm expecting her to settle in the top three early and with some clear running she should be able to assume control mid race and if she does find the front she will prove very hard to get past.

Psychotic Gold is the premier stayer in the state at present and she has won her past four starts over this track and trip. This race has a lot more depth than she normally meets but she is all class and she will be right in the finish with an ounce of luck.

Grifter Bale scored a commanding 43.31 heat win last week and he will be suited to the wide draw, I'm still not convinced about him running a true 731 but he did look very impressive in his heat.

Zara Mclaren rounds out the chances, she has a terrific record over this trip and she is drawn to get a clear run early.

Alderley Reform returned to his brilliant best here last week and with a wide runner drawn directly on his outside he appears drawn to win again. He doesn't possess brilliant early speed but he should have enough pace to boot through and hold his spot on the inside, his time of 29.74 last week shows that he is back in peak form and he really looks the goods in this event.

Van Carrho Flash can be a little hit or miss early but when he steps he is capable of great things. Two starts back he hit the line powerfully when scoring at Gawler in 30.56 and he does appear suited tonight because there is very little speed drawn around him.

Beach Wary is a very strong chaser and he has a sizzling 29.71 PB over this journey, he is likely to get too far back to score but he should be able to run home into a place.

Squall Bale is another run on type and he should be suited to the wider draw, he has scored some great wins of late and if the leaders happen to bunch up in this event he will be there to swoop over the top late.

Sidney's Shadow appears to be back to her brilliant best and if she repeats her 29.62 heat winning effort she should get the cash tonight. Last week she stepped well but she also showed a devastating turn of foot which she hasn't shown for a while, with a slow beginner on her outside tonight she should get plenty of room early and that should allow her to make a big impact.

Coorong Kid is airborne at present and he has won three on the trot here and all of those wins have been in blistering times. His box manners are always a concern but if he happens to get a clear run early he is going to take a power of beating.

Mobius resumes from a spell here last week and he powered to the line in his smart 29.96 heat win, he is going to get back early again but there is a fair bit of speed in this event so there might be some shuffling up front and that will work in his .

Woodnear is the smokey, he has a great record here and he has the speed to get across.

Young Gun Mcbain has a fantastic record over this track and trip and two starts back he recorded a sizzling 30.56 Gawler win from this draw. With a clean getaway, he should be able to drive through and hold the early lead and I can't see him getting reeled in if he finds the lure early.

He's A Villian will be steaming home at the end and he has scored some top wins of late. Two starts back he ran the hands off the clock when posting a blistering 34.81 win here over 600m and the drop back in distance shouldn't be too much of a concern.

Spicy Peppa is well drawn out wide and she caught the eye in her classy 30.52 Gawler win two runs back and on that occasion she beat the state's premier sprinter in Gun Mcbain, I dont like the draw tonight but she does have early speed and she should put herself into contention at the first bend.

Ollington had shown plenty of talent in his three Tasmanian starts and last week he looked ultra impressive in his SA debut. After stepping well he reeled off a slick 4.42 to the first marker before stopping the clock in a more than handy 30.14. There is a bit more speed in this event but if he steps like he did last time he should be able to burn them off.

Bianca Bale is dropping in class and she won't be far away again. She has been placed in 10 of 12 here and she should match motors with Ollington for most of the journey.

Lucy Fergo is improving with every start and she is drawn to get the gun run, she has raced against some quality opposition of late and she should appreciate the drop in class tonight.

Long Gully Mark is another who drops in class but I'm a little concerned with the amount of speed drawn on his outside. He definitely has them covered talent wise, he just needs a clear run early.

Peejay Jack has excelled since coming from NSW and he capped off a great run of form with a scintillating 29.66 Mount Gambier win last time out. He is blessed with smart early speed, so with a clean getaway tonight he should be able to roll to the early lead and that should be the end of the race.

Dodger I Am has a heap of talent and he has a tremendous record here, my only concern with him is that he is better suited to a wider draw and he is going to need a lot of luck early.

Sandave Gem must be respected, three runs back he broke the 30 second barrier when winning here and last time out he went down narrowly to the top pick Peejay Jack at Mount Gambier.

Oran Bale is the run on type in the event, I dont think she can win but she could be a good anchor for third and fourth in your exotic bets.
