Peejay Jack has excelled since coming across from NSW and he looks suited in this event. He has no speed at all drawn on his inside and with a clean getaway he should be able to get a fairly cheap lead, two starts back he found the early and posted a blistering 29.66 Mount Gambier win so if he leads again he will prove hard to reel in.

Mr. Leonardo is another front runner and he should match motors with the three for a long way and he shouldn't be too far away at the end, he has been racing in strong company of late and he should appreciate the drop in class.

He's A Villian can be hard to follow at times but he does have a big engine, if he can settle just behind the speed and avoid bother he might just prove too strong in the run home.

Oran Bale is another run on type and she can't be discounted, she is suited to a wide draw and she has a tremendous record here.

8BLU LIGHT BANJO212430.20Kathleen Johnstone

Blu Light Banjo is armed with slick early speed and she has been racing very well of late, two starts back she was a solid 30.56 winner here and she showed improvement when narrowly beaten here last week. There isn't a whole lot of speed underneath her tonight so with a clean getaway she should be able to carve across and assume control and I can't see them reeling her in as she will be running around the 30.10 mark.

Wayne's Error is much better than his form suggests and he will be hitting the line hard in this, he has been taking on much stronger company of late and he only needs some luck in running to feature.

Mrs. Bubbles is a reliable beginner and she should be in contention for a long way, in her past two runs here she has been placed behind two super talents and she deserves a change of luck.

Irinka Grant comes here with solid NSW form and he is in capable hands, he showed good early speed in his home state and it will be worth watching for any betting moves in this.

Banjo Blaze can be hard to follow but she is more than capable, I dont like her from the wide draw but if she goes around at silly odds she might be worth a bet.

Very tough race but if Long Gully Mark can get a clear crack at them he will prove hard to hold out, he has turned in some great performances of late but he just hasn't had any luck in running, if he can avoid bother tonight he should be able to settle in a threatening position and he should prove too strong in the run home.

King Chaos is the likely leader and he will reel off impressive sectionals, however he isn't overly strong and he may get picked off in the run home.

Boonoona Boy can be hard to follow at times but he does have plenty of talent, if he gets room to muster in the first 50m he could settle in the top three and he should be quite strong in the run to the line.

Scottish Thistle is better suited to a wider draw but he can ping away at times and if he does he might be able to hold them out, if he is bog odds he is worth a saver bet.

Kalden Legenda is a reliable beginner and from the red he should get every chance to lead from go to whoa. He has won his past three here in good company and this is probably a drop in class for him, there is very little speed on his outside so there should be no excuses tonight, he should be afforded all the breaks.

Victa Victoria is a strong type and she will be suited to the wide draw, she will get back in the early stages but this is the weakest race she has contested for a while and she only needs some luck mid race to feature.

Yambla Mick returned to form with a handy 35.35 win here over 600m last time and he too will be suited by the lack of depth, he should be able to settle just behind the red early and he could make the red work hard for victory.

Dyna Vank is better than his form suggests and he could be the value, he can show early speed on occasions and he could be big overs in this event.

Young Gun Mcbain is a class above and from the rails draw he should be able to lead throughout. Two starts back he showed sizzling early speed before posting a very impressive 29.81 victory here, if he can ping away again he should win in convincing fashion.

Sandave Gem was pretty stiff here last time out and although she is drawn poorly she still must be considered. She normally boxes quite well and has genuine early speed so if given some room she should be able to push through into a fairly prominent spot.

Danyo's Dabby is very hit or miss early but when he gets a clear run he is capable of very good things, last time out he posted a sizzling 29.83 win here, I think he is worth risking at the short odds but he still must be included in your exotics.

Cosmic Wild won from this draw two runs back here and if he pings away he should be in the mix again.

Aston Kane is resuming from a lengthy spell but he is blessed with enormous talent and he has won eight of 11 here previously. He is armed with blistering early speed and if he is anywhere near his best he should gap them. He is likely to start very short odds so it may be worth anchoring him up front in your exotic bets.

Taser Mcbain is ideally drawn out wide and she will settle in the top two or three early, she can struggle in the last 40m at times but if she gets away mid race she will take some catching.

Footluce Diva has a good record here and she comes back to SA after a successful stint in Victoria, she can be hit or miss early but even if she misses away she is good enough to come from off the speed to win.

Rum Punch and Dyna Andy must be included in exotic bets, both are racing well and they both have enough speed to settle in the top three early.

Black Bottle isn't overly strong but he is extremely reliable early and he should get a very cheap lead tonight. He has been racing well without winning of late and I think he should be able to get away with a nice lead mid race tonight, the last 40m is a worry but he is going to be nice odds and I think he can pinch this event.

Kalden Gambino has won three of his past four here in sub 30 seconds and he should be in the mix throughout, there is very little speed drawn directly outside him so he should get a clear passage in the early stages.

Alderley Reform is likely to start favourite and he is obviously a great winning chance, the concern with him though is that he tends to do his best racing when drawn inside so he may be under the odds today.

Stew's Mistake rounds out the chances, he is better than his recent form suggests and he returns to his favourite track tonight.

Warrior Of Oz was soundly beaten in his heat but he has early speed and he looks ideally placed in the red. I'm expecting the middle division to bunch up in the early stages and that may allow him to zip away mid race and if he can build up a four length lead that should be enough to score.

Long Gully Magic is a beast and if he is given room in the first 50m he will likely blow them away, he can be a little hit or miss early but he musters speed at a great rate and the draw probably isn't too bad for him.

Emerley Avenue is armed with early speed and she will be much better for her heat effort, she led for a long way last week before she got very tired, that was her first 500m run for nearly a month so she should hit the line better tonight.

Aussie Noorumba is an exciting prospect and he can run serious time when given a clear run, the concern tonight is that he is likely to get crowded in the early stages tonight.

Tough race but if Chelsea Diamond can step cleanly she should be able to lead from go to whoa. Three starts back she recorded a sizzling 22.69 win and she reeled off great sectionals, if she can reproduce those sectionals she will be able to get away mid race and she should steal the prize.

Real Flash is a promising type and she was desperately unlucky here two runs back, if she can get away cleanly tonight she should be able to push through into a prominent spot early and she will be very strong in the run to the line.

Allinga Dot will get back in the early stages but she gets to the line strongly and she is a must for the exotics.

Essay Spok has the speed to settle on the speed and she has won two of five over this journey, she will need to lead to win but if she settles in the top three she can definitely take home some minor money.

Red Can is perfectly drawn in the pink and he should make light work of this lineup, he can bomb the start at times which is a small concern but he tends to step well from wide draws and he should be able to avoid any early bother. He has a sizzling 29.77 PB here and he should have every chance to reproduce that tonight.

Kingda Kahn has excelled since coming to NSW and he should be in the firing line for most of the journey, he is normally a reliable beginner but last time out he showed his strength with an off the speed 30.17 win here.

Rained is the run on type in the event, he has been racing consistent in recent weeks and if he finds the rail early he should run a cheeky race.

Red Line Lad and Paranoia round out the chances, both are in fairly good form and they just need some luck in the early stages.

Ritza Tiger is a reliable beginner and he appears suited in this lineup, there isn't a lot of speed in this event so he should get a fairly cheap lead and if he does find the early lead I can't see them reeling him in.

Master Bekim is well drawn out wide and he is a must for your exotic bets, his lack of early speed is always a concern but he runs on well and he rarely misses a place.

Park Glory has been placed in 11 of 19 here and he should be in the mix for a long way again. I dont think he can hold the three out early but he should settle just behind him and a top three spot is on the cards.

Allen Grundy rounds out the chances, he will hit the line strongly and he could be a good anchor for third and fourth in your exotic bets.
