Best Bet
The Meadows
Race 8: Lektra Concord with William Hill
Two starts back he scored a top all the way win at Warrnambool in 25.26 and prior to that he had posted some impressive Sandown Park wins. With slow beginners drawn all around him today he should be able to assume control in the early stages and he should be running some time on the lure, so I can't see them reeling him in.
Best Value
Angle Park
Race 10: Tank Tank with William Hill
His form only reads fairly average but he is much better than that and he looks well graded in this event. He is a slow beginner and desperate for the inside, with a few good beginners underneath he should be able to drop in behind them for a nice trail. He is very strong in the run home and he could be a solid each-way bet.
Best Roughie
Warrnambool
Race 6: Midnight Ride at $14 with William Hill
This race, the Group 2 Warrnambool Classic, is definitely a quality final and there are quite a few chances, but at the big odds I think this chaser is as good as any. He is perfectly placed in the pink draw and with a fast beginner and keen railer drawn directly underneath he appears poised to get all the breaks. One out he is in the top three fastest chasers in this race and he just needs some luck heading into the first bend. At the double figure odds I'm willing to take the chance he gets a nice cart into the race
Best Quinella
Bendigo
Race 6: 5 to rove with 6,7,8 ($3 for 100%)
Our Murray Grey was a strong winner here two runs back and he should be able to lead for most of the trip, if he does lead a top two finish is on the cards.
Claretown Snowy is a strong chaser and he can run home into the quinella spot at odds, whilst the seven and eight can both show early speed and they should be in contention for a long way.
Best Trifecta
Bulli
Race 5: 1,4/1,4/Field ($12 for 100%)
