Wentworth Park Greyhounds Race 3 Box 1 Aurville 7.58pm
Aurville is way way overdue to win one here, but it's quite clear he hates the place; and I don't blame him, it's a disaster the first turn. But he's clearly the class runner and should be winning this even though hes yet to posta good time here. There's very little competition and box 1 makes things ten times easier. He should ping and land second or third here early on and rail inside them on the first turn. Once he finds the front I doubt any of these will run him down. He may be slightly over the odds as his record here is poor, but he looks the outright winner
Ipswich Greyhounds Race 10 Box 1 Black Oyster 6.55pm
This daughter of import sire Fear Zafonic should be the value runner for the day. Her form is poor and it's impossible to tip her without seeing her previous races, but I do like her here against an ordinary field from a great box. She only won the one race but, a few starts ago ran a terrific race at Albion and was only just beaten. Box 1 here today should drag her out of the boxes, and I think we will see a different dog on the bunny if she left alone initially. There's plenty of dangers and they all have a realistic chance of saluting, but il stick the the Troy Sharpe trained runner here. Each way.
Geelong Greyhounds Race 6 Box 8 Yowyeh 8.47pm
It's been a while since this smart chaser has crossed the line in first, but he looks a terrific chance her today with a couple of scratchings and the added advantage of box 8. He enjoys the pink box and at his best would give these win burn. The main chances in this have all drawn the wrong boxes and look set to struggle early on. With a good beginning and if Yowyeh can get forward early. He'll be mighty hard to beat. Don't take silly odds though, about $4.50 is the right price.
