Greyhound Betting Tips For Friday 9th August 2013
We had a great night last night, with 3 out of the 5 selections winning. Wonder Whirl at Angle Park showed she was a class above, after coming from behind to blow them away; paying nicely at $2.30. Ben's House used box 1 to perfection at Albion Park in a career best time at $3.10. Last of all Hawk Alone the best bet just hung on at Sandown to win and paid a nice $2.70. Meliye Jane beat herself running second, and Lecture was given a cold when run down in the straight to run second.
On to tonight and let's hope the good form can continue.
Wentworth Park Greyhounds Race 5 Box 8 Trendy Tia 8.40pm
This looks a great money maker bet here in Sydney tonight. Trendy Tia took a while to hit her straps here at Wentworth park, but has rally fired up here last start. She came out well and then let rip to lead all the way. Box 8 will suit and she should ping and go here and race up outside the early leader in Moonshine Crash. He was brilliant from box rise last start but got tired in the run to the line. Trendy Tia appears stronger at this stage and she should finish just that bit better then Moonshine Crash here tonight. Great bet.
Geelong Greyhounds Race 2 Box 8 Hanify's Silver 7.27pm
Perfectly boxed Hanify's Silver is once again the top tip here in this. We tipped him from the pink box 3 starts ago when he run third, and we will stick to selecting him here again from the ideal box. Same old story, he has immense pace and incredibly mid race burn. This fellows mid race pace is as good as the top 5 sprinters in the land, he doesn't always produce it. I think he may hold the second section record at Ipswich, but I'm not certain. He only needs a safe get away here again tonight and he should blow them away mid race. He's awkward and needs room to move, but no excise here from the pink tonight. Should win.
Mandurah Greyhounds Race 6 Box 1 Saving Bundles 8.18pm WA time
Tough free to all here with a case for many. I have a huge opinion of the youngster Special Pup, but he stepping up again here against some tough old nuts. He's certainly a Special Pup and a serious contender in the future but don't write him off he can win this. I'm going to go again with the box and Saving Bundles has the cherry. She loves Mandurah and has a terrific record. Her time of 27.40 is great and she only needs to ping from the red here tonight. She should hold out the dogs on her immediate outside and get her chance to race away. It's a tough race and back her if she's overs.
