Greyhound Betting Tips For Monday 12th August 2013
Me managed a nice winner last night at great odds of $6.80. That's About Me, got the job done at Sale, showing his less experienced counterparts how its done.
Albion Park Greyhounds, Race 3 Box 1 Tiny Turner, 7.26pm
The Ron Ball trained Tiny Turner looks a great bet here early on at Albion Park. I'm well aware her PB of 31.06 is poor, however the track was turned when she run that time and its best to ignore it. In her last couple she's looked real dangerous, but both times she's been caught up in traffic early on and spat out the back. From the rails draw here tonight and against a ordinary lot she will prove super hard to beat. She probably capable of getting down around the 30.30 mark and on exposed form that time just wins this. Box 8 runner High And Mighty looks a real danger, he was well backed and raced well last start at Ipswich. Box 8 is ok for him and with a good jump he'll be there in the finish. Tiny Turner looks a promising pup and I expect her to show why tonight. Great bet and I doubt they'll beat her.
Angle Park Greyhounds Race 1 Box 1 Ikari Pedro, 6.34pm
It's quite a tough card here tonight, with noting that really jumps out in the form guide here. Ikari Pedro's one of the best boxed runners of the night, and that should go along way to carrying him here in this. His last start 3rd was far better then it looks on paper, he's not a dog who handles being off the bunny, and he handled it with ease last start. He has a PB of 30.10 and I don't think he's far off that sort of form. He should boot up here early and hold a few out, and with the inclusion of a few really iffy ones he might skip away. With a repeat of last weeks run I reckon he'll hold on. Boxes 3,4,5 are capable of winning if they begin like they can but the majority of the field are good beginners and its hard to with out who will lead. Boxes win races and Ikari Pedro has the box. Grafton Greyhounds Race 6 Box 2 Bralyn County, 8.52pm
I'm not a fan of Grafton as a betting track and generally stay away, so the best I can find here is the obvious choice in the old warrior Bralyn County. The field has been decimated with scratchings and only a few dogs remain. So the exacta picks itself and the winner picks itself, but we will have a go at finding the trifecta. 2-4-7 is the tip and for an outlay of $1.00 punters should be able to get odds of about $5.00 about the 3 dog combination.
Launceston Greyhounds, Race 8 Box 2 She's All Class. 10.00pm
The Tassie leg of the National Sprint and She's All Class looks the one here for me. She's got a great record but most of all she's got tremendous early early toe and that should see her find the rail from the moment the lids fly open. Nooee's Lad is in my opinion Australia's best beginner and he'll do his part to hold out the main danger Buckle up Wes. With both Buckle up Wes, and Nooee's Lad, duelling each other She's all Class should skip right away and take off with an unassailable lead. Boxes win races and box 2 and the ability to take the early lead will do the job her for here.
