Greyhound Betting Tips For Wednesday 13th March 2013
Yesterday's Results: Painted Amigo – Winner $4.30, Velocity Melita – Winner $1.70, Gawler Trifecta – Winner $4.80, One Last Dance – Second $1.60.
We had a pretty good day yesterday as you can see. Painter Amigo, went terrific and never looked in doubt. Racing away to win by about 3 lengths. He was our best result. We managed to pick the trifecta at Gawler, and Velocity Melita did the job nicely at Ipswich. One Last Dance raced well but found Speed Lane just too good.
Albion Park Greyhounds, Race 10 Box 6 Custom Idea. 5.54 pm QLD time
The north Qld champ, comes back again here for attempt number 6. She goes quite ordinary around here and I'm hoping that may reflect in her price. She is by far the best dog in the race but races without confidence here. She looked the winner last start here until being chopped out. Meets an easier field here and looks the winner for mine. Only needs a safe start to win this
Angle Park Greyhoinds, Race 12 Box 1 Aston Ablett. 4.39 pm Nsw time
Very moody dog that can no doubt run. But getting him to do it consistently seems to be the problem. He has drawn perfectly here and if he decides to switch on he may be a huge danger in this. A couple of starts ago he was going tremendous at Gawler, high balling out on front. But was headed ad seemed to give up the chase. I'd like to see him lead, and from the rails he get his chance. He can win this but needs to focus. Each way bet.
Richmond Greyhounds, Race 8 Box 6 Wy Gunya, 6.06 pm Nsw time
Tough race with a couple of winning chances. Wy Gunya, could he value in this and he looks suited by the big track. A hard to catch sort of dog but has run some sensational times before. He has a huge motor but seems to mess things up a lot. His straight line speed is enormous and on the big track here at Richmond he gets his chance to show us his burn. He should go nicely today and only needs to position in behind the speed early. Tian Hao Diva is going great guns at present, and she looks the hardest to beat. It all depends on where our selection ends up around the first turn. If he can stay in in touch with them, he will no doubt give backers a great sight. Each Way Bet.
Warrnbool Greyhounds, Race 10 Box 2 Quiz Bale 9.47pm Vic time
Very little to get excited about at tonights meeting, with small fields and very little quality engaged. The Daughter of Super producer Princess Bale looks the goods in this. Quiz Bake looks to be the best bet here on tonights card. She will start a short favourite, but I've been unable to find anything else. She should be nearing her peak, with 3 runs under her belt, since the spell. Meets very ordinary opposition, and she should be able fire out and lead all the way here. If she wins tonight we may see her string a few together. She'll be short, but should winning.
Ballarat Greyhounds, Race 8 Box 1, Premier Boloney, 9.21 pm Vic time
The son on Premier Fantasy, has raced and beaten the best dogs around, and that experience and quality should see him win this here. He has been unlucky not yon have won a Group 1 I reckon. He takes on the talented Queenslander Surf Mail, who went super first up at Sandown dunking second. But Boloney has the class factor, and added advantage of the rails. He is a slow beginner usually, but he does have early speed, we just seldom see it. Boxes and class win races, and this bloke ticks all the boxes. Surf Mail has plenty of talent but expect him to find it here here unless he jumps straight to the front. From the rails he should be too good for these here tonight.
Cannington Greyhounds, Race 4 Box 1 Burzynski, 7.32 pm W.A time
I backed this dog last start, as second favourite, against Linda Brittons odds on pop from the rails. And Burzynski went super firing out from the 8 to easily head the field and race away. He has come up with box 1 here tonight and he should do the wave again. He can go quicker than his PB of 30.68, and expect him to be easily winning this tonight. He looks to have a bright future this fellow and the whole litter are going quite well. Expect this bloke to really show us what he's made of here tonight.
He has fantastic early toe and great track sense for suck a young dog. He will start short, but better than bank interest I reckon.
