Greyhound racing best bets – Saturday November 11, 2017

R2 No.8 : Well graded in this class and she is much better than her past two starts indicate where she has missed the start and found trouble. Probably better boxed towards the fence, but if she jumps she has the speed to overcome the box and she looks capable of getting close to the 30.00 mark with a clear run. The one to beat.

R2 No.1 Another Gangsta: Smart dog which relishes box one and has a good record over this track and trip. Not the fastest beginner, but if he can hold his spot on the fence he will be right in this and if he can reproduce his 26.21 personal best they will find him hard to catch.

R7 No.1 Blue Gum Hill: Drops considerably in class on his most recent efforts which he will appreciate. Recently for the Geelong cup running fourth behind and since then he hasn't had much luck against tough dogs from poor draws. Doubt he'll lead this, but if he can sit second of third through the first turn he will be a big threat.

The Meadows R8 No.6 Up Hill Jill: Poorly drawn but finds herself meeting weaker opposition than she has faced in a long while. Still some handy types in this race so she can't do anything wrong, but if she shows her usual box speed and finds the front I doubt they'll be running past her at the finish.

R5 No.1 : Tipped this bloke a few weeks back and he let us down, but we are going to give him another chance tonight. Should enjoy being boxed towards the inside and with his good early toe he should have no problem finding the front. Can carve out some quick time on the bunny and we expect him to again tonight.
