Race 8: Rashad Reason
Rashad Reason is a class act when right and he appears drawn to get every chance today. Five starts back he showed a great turn of speed when scoring at Sandown in 29.65 and since then he hasn't had a lot of luck in running. He is better suited to the provincial tracks and with the long run into the first turn at Warragul he should be able to balance up in the top two or three early. He is capable of running sizzling sectionals and with an ounce of luck he should be winning.

Race 2: General Cloud
General Cloud is a handy up and comer and he appears to be enormous value at the $15 mark with Bet365. He is going to get back in the early stages and he probably prefers to be drawn out wide, however he finds himself in a race with a number of front runners and if he can balance up just behind them he should be right there at the end. Last week he powered to the line when scoring here in 30.17 and I have no doubts that with a clear passage he can break 30 seconds. It's worth having some on him for the win and double the place.

Race 4: Lauryn's Best
Lauryn's Best has been racing in brilliant style of late and although she is terribly drawn, she is likely to go around at well over the odds. Two starts back she took it right up to the up and coming star Simpatico over the 520m journey and she then followed that effort up with a sizzling 18.84 heat win for this event. She is normally a lid pinger and she had no trouble crossing from the seven last time out. She is currently $10 with Bet365 in early markets and that appears to be well over the odds.

We Froff Dat is a reliable beginner and he should be rolling to a comfortable lead in this event and if he does find the top he should be finishing in the top two. The red is drawn to go with the two early and he should be right there at the end, whilst the four is a strong chaser and with some luck early he should be there to pounce as they near the line.
