Greyhound Racing Tips For Thursday 31st January 2013

Fantastic night of racing tonight around the country, and I'm sure the majority of punters all have a good quid in there pockets, after The REAL DEAL,DANIEL GEALE simply dismantled, Anthony Mundine last night in Sydney.

Sportingbet, were majors sponsors of the fight and offered up great odds about GEALE winning by unanimous points decision.
We all should have out pockets full to punt on the Greyhounds tonight!! I know for one I do….

Albion Park Greyhounds. Race 1. Box 4. Cosmico. 6.40pm QLD time

After studying this bloke I'm quite sure all he needs to do is find the lead in his races, and we might see a very handy dog.
Got the feeling he's not giving 100%, when not out in front on the ,and I'm sure we're going to see a completely different dog if he can find the front. I know many dogs are , but this bloke has not had his chance to do so yet, and he may tonight. I can't see him leading the 1 or 2 in this but he should sit right beside them around the first turn and if he gets to the front I'm Certain he will win!!

Albion Greyhounds. Race 2. Box 1 Benarkin. 7.05pm. QLD time

Look it's very simple here box 1 won't suit Benarkin, however he has panels on this sorry lot. And all he has too do is gain clear running around the first turn and find his feet, and this bloke will give win burn to this lot. I'm not a fan of backing slow beginners but in this field he only has to run the sectionals he can and well it's a for-gone conclusion.

Albion Greyhounds. Race 10. Box 4 Phantom Jewels. 9.54pm QLD time

This bitch has a motor!! But getting her to always use it seems to be the problem. Has a super smart PB at breaking 30.00 and put in a huge effort here last week. She's a dog that's hard to catch, but after last weeks run she only has to have a little luck and clear running to defeat these. Fair beginner who is quite strong and certainly takes on a field she can beat. Don't take the shorts but, $2.60 is a fair price for mine.

Angle Park Greyhounds. Race. 10 Box 3. Rustic Sunrise. 10.26pm NSW time

I'm going for value here, with the 3 runner, Rustic Sunrise. Im well aware that Allen Dirk should start favourite and be very hard to beat. However Rustic Sunrise's last few runs have been full of merit. She's performed solidly when able to gain clear running from the get go. I'm thinking the price might be right here to have a healthy each way bet. Let's hope the 1 stays in the box and she leads. It'll be Game on then!!

Dapto Greyhounds. Race 6. Box 8 Chasing Diana. 9.15pm. NSW time

can be difficult for me and it's not one I spend a great deal of time on. I often find winners but I'm just not a fan of the track style. However Chasing Diana, looks to have the wood on a couple of these here. Great beginner who should spear right away early and clear out. The box 1 runner is a big awkward dog for mine and if he begins he may be the undoing of some of these here around the first bend. The dangers will be Celebration Time, and Wild At Midnight. But they both need to gain clear running early, something I think they may not get.

Sandown Greyhounds. Race 11. Box 1 Tweak. 10.38pm VIC time

Tweak, I'm gonna give this guy . After he was my on top and solid pick last Saturday night at . He's just not beginning and I'm hoping the red box drags this bloke out here. He has the motor, theres no doubting that; but the questions remains will he bring his A game. Tonight I'll be betting so, but only if the price is right! I won't be taking silly odds about this guy. There's no doubt he'll have support, and also the opposite. But let's hope the mug punters don't all follow the early money here, and he jumps at reasonable odds. Best to back this bloke late on of our many Corporates, like
SPORTINGBET, IASBet, , or . And if your a new member, I'd be using your free bet, this is the bloke to be using it on!!!

Hobart Greyhounds. Race 5. Box 2. Fine Eagle. 8.43pm NSW time

This bloke may be a short priced favourite for the night. But he's the only thing I really liked. Plenty of others on the card but, I don't like slow beginners or bad boxes. Fine Eagle has put the time on the bored and comes here in great form. If he can beat the 5 dog out in Direct Sonic, “his only danger”; that will be enough to salute here. There's not a great deal between them with Direct Song having posted a length and a half better time here for the 461m distance. However Fine Eagle will be my selection on tonights card.

Best of Luck…….
