Greyhound Racing Tips For Wednesday 6th February 2013
Albion Park Greyhounds, Race 8 Box 1 Riverside Lad. 5.05pm Qld
Race 8 is the Top Grade race here at Albion today. And we once again see the brilliant Charmed Speed for Col Byers engaged here. Charmed Speed the winner of 34 races from 70 starts has drawn box 4. However this is only his 3 attempt at this distance and 5th attempt here at Albion park. Is 2 from 2 over the distance and 4 from 4 at the track but I feel today is the day it becomes 4 from 5 at the track. He's a brilliant beginner but Riverside Lad has drawn the rails and has quicker PB and also a very good record here. CS began like a bomb, like he usually does last start, but got quite tired Going to the line. Something he's been demonstrating for a few starts at Ipswich lately. I'm hoping Riverside Lad can boot up early and sit right on Charmed speeds hammer. And if he is able to do so then I have no doubt he will run him down. Riverside Lad, the better value!!
Ipswich Greyhounds, Race 8 Box 7. Surfer Bomb. 8.05pm Qld time
The best 8 again is also where I've decided to select a runner tonight, and Surfer Bomb looks very well placed to make it win no. 10 here. There's only 7 starters here and I'm confident we can eliminate 4 straight up. That leaves us with Surfer Bomb,
Radar Detector, and Alota the Best. Alota the Best is the oldest runner of the 3 and has the slowest PB and is not as strong as the other 2 at the end. Down to 2 now and and I've decided on Surfer Bomb. Has been racing without much luck of late and is well overdue to salute again. Performs best here at his home track and will have no trouble handling the outside box. Should get a great drag into the race sitting outside Alota The Best and will prove too strong in the run home. Has to beat Radar Detector out or at the least draw level with him and from box rise and if he does he should be winning this event.
Angle Park Greyhounds. Race 9 Box 1 King Fox. 3.47pm NSW time
The former American King Fox lines up here today and appears to have drawn the right box and race for his first win here in S.A. He's been a fairly good chaser in times gone by in Victoria where he acquitted himself very well after being brought across from America. His form is ordinary from the inside but is no different to any other box he's won from. Put in a solid effort last start and he's had support in his recent S.A starts. Theirs no doubt he's gonna win won soon and if he can boot up from the red early, he looks the winner for mine. Should be a good eachway price.
Richmond Greyhounds Race 5 Box 4. Pumped Up Zarr. 4.57pm Nsw time
Best Bet Of The Day… Pumped Up Zarr should give these a galloping lesson here today. Looked all over the winner last start at Wentworth Park before finding trouble early on. Posted a very fast time at Canberra leading all the way a couple of starts ago. Has a hot 29.59 to his name at the Big track at Sandown in Victoria and looks again suited by the big track here at Richmond Today. He has plenty of early dash and is strong at the business end. Absolutely no excuses for this bloke today, should jump and run and have this race won a long way from home. Meets a ordinary bunch, and Midnight Rush looks the best of the rest. Her last two starts at Dapto were very good and she appears the clear second pick. We should see big things from this bloke after today, and I expect him to become a real good top grade dog in the future. And for that reason, has to win this today!!! Best Bet….
The Meadows. Greyhounds Race 9. Box 8 Arwho 2.32pm Vic time
The Daughter of Meticulous looks very well placed in this event today. She should be able to find a soft lead here and looks a great value bet from the 8 box today. Don't think the trip will be beyond her here and I'm, a fan of front runners here at the Meadows. Behind her there doesn't seem to be much pace and they all look very even early on. Quite often a lot of dogs get jammed up around the first corner here. If they jam today Arwho may prove very hard to run down. Ran a super second at Sandown recently posting a solid 29.99 for the 520. She also posted best of the day figures a couple of starts ago at Geelong, where they jumped out of trees to back her late. And delivered a text book win. Leading nearly all the way from start to finish. May skip right away with this today. Good chance.
Ballarat Greyhounds. Race 12. Box 6 Tricky Misty. 10.38pm Vic time
Tricky Misty is classy galloper, And has been given a freshen up for this race tonight. Has to contend with the ever so consistent Arnie's Girl here who lid pings, but if Trick Misty is able to stay in touch early I have no doubt she will prove to strong here for Arnie's girl. The “Trick” will be staying in touch early.I'm hoping the month off will do that here. she naturally has good early toe. Kelly's dogs are going super at the moment and theres no reason why her great run cant continue here tonight. Great Each way bet..
Warrnambool Greyhounds. Race 7. Box 1 Why Not Lizzie. 8.48pm Vic time
Why Not Lizzie has come up the on top selection here it's only improved by the box 1 she has drawn. Has panels of class, and talent on this lot. Flys the lids but comes unstuck at times against quality opposition, as she tends to have a flat spot mid race. This enables the good dogs to head her off mid way. But there will be such problem here tonight. Even with her mid race flat spot she should still be far enough in front of this lot to flattened out and then again kick back into gear and run away with this. Ticks all the boxes and should be winning this. Easy money!!!
Was a super tough day yesterday with very little luck. Well almost none-barring the odds on Crump!! But let's hope today is much more Fruitful…..
