Tammy Baxter is a faultless beginner and she returned to form last time out at when scoring in a sizzling 22.06. Prior to that she had a crack at the longer journey and struggled and now she is back to a more suitable distance. If she can get away cleanly she should have the speed to push through and lead. She will prove hard to reel in when on the over this journey.

Elanora Beach can ping the lids in her races and she looked impressive when scoring at last time in a very zippy 23.42. She is having her first look at the track, but if she steps away she should be able to fill the quinella spot.

Crackerjack Rose has the good draw and she should be hitting the line hard. She is dropping back in distance, but has displayed enough speed in previous races to suggest that she can be a major player over this journey.

Top Four: 2 – 4 – 1 – 7

Dina Bale is resuming from a spell, but showed a tremendous amount of talent when last in work and I'm sure that she is primed for a bold first up showing. In November she showed explosive early speed when scoring at Shepparton in 21.91 and she has been placed in her two runs prior here, so with a clear run early, she should get the cash.

Crackerjack Burn is normally a very reliable beginner and he should give a great sight, he isn't overly strong, but he has won here in 25.62 previously and a similar effort tonight would see him figure in the finish.

Toc Flyer can be hard to follow, but he does have a fair amount of ability. I dont think he can win tonight, but he should be able to run home into the placings.

Top Four: 8 – 3 – 6 – 5
