6ABBEY’S HAND [5]87126FSTDR Britton (Lara)
7SUNDAY SESS [5]17875NBTD Murray (Napoleons)
8TEARS SIAM (NSW)[5]65874FSHR Britton (Lara)

Mepunga Sammy has had no luck at all since resuming from a spell and he should be suited by the rise in distance. Back in April he posted a blistering 29.32 victory here over 515m and if he can produce those sort of sectionals early he should be able to build up a monster lead mid race. Being by Bekim Bale and the manner in which he hits the line over 515m, I believe he should have no trouble covering the ground.

Tears Siam is ideally drawn out wide and she comes here with solid NSW staying form, she has recently joined the powerful Robert Britton kennel and she should be primed for a bold first up showing in Victoria.

Abbey’s Hand should settle near the speed and she should give a nice sight, the last 50m may be a concern but she should be able to hold on for a place.

Mimicking is a long way from his best but this is the weakest race he has contested for a while so he must be included in your exotic bets..

Top Four: 2 – 8 – 6 – 4

Opec Bale has been racing in explosive fashion and he really powered to the line when scoring at Horsham last time in 32.79. With a clean getaway tonight he should be able to settle in the top three and he should prove far too strong in the run home.

Macca’s Sway is making his debut over this journey and he should be suited by the rise in distance, he has had no luck in recent times but if you go back through his form he does have a brilliant 27.37 Horsham victory to his credit.

Pennsylvania Is has the good draw and she should lead them up for a long way, I’m not convinced that she will run the journey but she should have enough in the tank to hold on for a place.

Dr. Des rounds out the chances, he has a lot of talent and he has won here previously in a smart 34.43.
