Kankakee Mclaren has been racing in very consistent style of late and with the lack of speed drawn around him he should get every chance to lead throughout. Last time out he flew to the first marker and he managed to hold on and score in a solid 30.42. If he can turn in a similar effort today he should be able to get the cash.
Irish Midge doesn't win a lot of races but she is never far away in this type of company, she has been placed in 16 of 22 over this trip and with an ounce of luck early she should be in the mix again.
Irish Keepsake is her litter and kennelmate and from the pink she must be respected, this is the best draw she has had for a while and she could cause an upset.
Midway Magic rounds out the hopes, she will get a long way back early but she does have a powerful finish.

Chemical Maker had no luck here last time out and he should be able to make amends, he has a brilliant 29.60 PB here and although he is a long way from that form he is still capable of going sub 30 seconds if he can find the bunny early.
Wrex Bale will be hitting the line solidly and he is suited by the wide draw, he will get too far back early to win but he should be able to run home into a place.
Zafonic Haze could be the interesting runner, he has speed to burn and he gives the indication that this trip may suit, the class will test but he may give a nice sight at odds.
Macca's Spirit should settle in the top three and he can run a cheeky race, he appears to have lost a bit of his strength in recent times but if he can hold them out early he should be able to get a nice break mid race.
