Greyhound Tips For Tuesday 18th June 2013

Mixed results last night with only the one winner. One of my favorite honest dogs Terror Time got the job done nicely at . Her early speed was the telling factor in the end. It was a great tough win by the youngster. Keep an eye out for her as she improves.

Ipswich Greyhounds, Race 5 Box 1 Viridian 5.16pm

I'm not so sure I wanna being having a great deal on this girl here today but if she starts at $3.20 I think it's worth the risk. She's got enormous early toe, and already has a 24.97 to here name here over the 431. None of these in this race can run that! Her first up performance over the 520 was ok, and she improved again her last week. She absolutely flew the lids in her first attempt, and I'm hoping she can do the same here again today. There a few dangers, but if she pings out and runs sectionals of around 5.38 – 13.20 and 12.20 which she should be capable of, she should just hold them off here today to win.

Gawler Greyhounds, Race 5 Box 1 Dyna Hakon, 1.56pm

There's no substitute for experience in any situation, and Dyna Hakon has much much more then the young and talented Oogaboo Oz. I don't think he's all that far behind her in raw speed either. There going to put the money here on her I'd say, Dyna Hakon will start second favorite and Galilee Spirit the third favourite. They appear the only hopes. Dyna Hakon is coming of a great last start win in very quick time at from box 1. He loves the rail, and does have enough early toe to hold them out here today. It's his first go here at and that is of concern but only Galilee Spirit is experienced here and he has drawn a tough box off the track. He should begin, and backers should achieve odds of $3.00 and he looks a great bet here today. If your taking a trifecta I suggest boxing the 3 runners just incase.

Gosford Greyhounds, Race 6 Box 1 Billy Buzzard 8.39pm

The race of the night here at and both the two pups with winning chances are by . He's starting to throw some real speed machines and looks to be living up to the expectations expected of him. I'm going with the inside runner here of course. Billy Buzzard, he did run just under a length slower then Expect No Mercy here last week but meets him again from a better box. Billy moves into the cherry, and Mercy moved out to the pink. I think this is the only difference we will see between these two runners here tonight. Billy posted a solid 29.85, and Mercy went slighter quicker running 29.75; with the later running a quicker first sectional. Both dogs will start around the same price, and im going with the box here.

Warragul Greyhounds, Race 4 Box 3 Banjo Star 7.50pm

Seems like Banjo Star should win this here tonight. I'm unable to find a nice priced one to back here tonight, and haven't found much of late. So we will stick with the favorite runner Banjo Star. Two starts ago he was brilliant in winning at . He began like a bomb from box 8 and lead all the way, running a handy 29.65. So I am surprised he's being dropped back to the 400m journey here but he has loads of early pace and is a nice up bad comer. He should have no trouble pinging the lids here and leading all the way. It takes alot to build a dog up to 500 and I'm hoping he hasn't lost his early zip. Talented runner and should win.
