Greyhound Tips For Wednesday 4th June 2013

Well we managed to again. We layed a dog and it got up to win.

I should practice what I preach. Always assume, all trainers are equal, and all dogs are 100% fit and ready to go! It's the only way. Words of Wisdom…..

Albion Park Greyhounds, Race 5 Box 2 Sundance Tycoon, 5.02pm

We are going to give Sundance Tycoon another shot here in this. He never got into the race last start and really disappointed. But I stand by my judgement and believe he's well boxed out here in the 8 again. Interestingly we see the debut of a first starter here over the 600 in the Greg Cannon trained Stompin' Sally – not something you see to often; who knows what she can do. Back to our selection he's got a little bit of talent this bloke and with a clean get away, and a chance to burn around the outside. He may just pinch this here today. He has a PB of 35.50 and has a good record over the trip. He should be eachway odds today and looks a real danger.

Angle Park Greyhounds, Race 2 Box 5 Elite Play, 1.44pm

It's always hard tipping a winner in a maiden. I rarely back in them but I'm hoping we get value in backing the Jovanovic trained Elite Play. I've read the dogs form and whoever believes running 31.13 in a performance trial gives her a winning chance in this is out of their mind. You could hop around the Dapto track quicker than that. I know the others are bad but surely you wouldn't back her on that time alone. I'm selecting her on two things; irstly she is trained by the , and secondly her littermate has plenty of talent and she wouldn't have been sent across to Petar without having the ability to win races. If she starts at $2.60 I suggest having a small go.

The Meadows Greyhounds, Race 7 Box 1 Dyna Export 1.49pm

This bloke looks all over a moral here if he gets around the first turn trouble free. She's Our Harry should spear the kids and drag Dyna Export right into the race. He's only won the 1 race and likes to run placings. But that's because he finds it tough to stay in touch early. From box 1 here today, with his best jump he should be able to stay within striking distance, and finish to strong for She's Our Harry.

Warrnambool Greyhounds, Race 6 Box 5 Aeroplane Eddie, 8.28pm

This bloke was pretty stiff last start to miss out on beating Pumped Up Zarr at . He was borked for a run in the dieing
stages. In tonight's race he has enough speed to end up 2nd or 3rd early and quickly assume control. Once he finds the front there's no stopping him. He's a pretty smart animal and can run time when on the bunny. If we can get evens here I suggest unloading onto this fellow. Bad luck shouldn't beat him.

Cannington Greyhounds, Race 6 Box 1 Reality Rumble. 8.05 WA time

This bloke generally grows a leg from box 1. In last weeks start from box 2 he was just narrowly piped on the line in a solid, 30.77. It's not an overly tough field and he should be able to hold a forward position early on. There's even a slight chance he may lead. Subliminally, looks the main danger and these two runners should fight the race out. He's still got plenty of wins left in him, and he should add another to that tally here tonight.

Best Of Luck.
