10NINETY FIVE [7]Res.4313630.03(6)H Collins (Lara)

Open affair to kick off the night but I think if the exciting Brown Bomber can get away cleanly he should make a big impact. Prior to his last start defeat at The Meadows, he had trialled at in a sizzling 25.78 and he followed that effort up with an explosive 25.45 Shepparton debut win. The wide draw is a little concern but he should have sufficient speed to cross and lead all the way.

Etched In Black should follow the favourite across in the run to the first turn and he was a recent 29.79 winner here from this draw, he will need to go faster to win tonight but he is an improving type and that isn't beyond him.

Hula showed speed here last week before being knocked over and I would expect a better effort tonight, there isn't a lot of speed around her so she should be afforded a clear run in the early stages.

Virginia Rose rounds out the chances, she has the good draw and she has been racing in consistent style of late.

9LEKTRA CRASH [6]Res.35527FSHA Dailly (Anakie)
10COWRIE (SA)[6]Res.26312FSHT Chatwin (Johnsonville)

Tobias Kelton was extremely unlucky here last start and with an ounce of luck early I would expect him to threaten big time. Four starts back he powered to the line in his sizzling 25.96 win and a repeat of that type of effort would see him win with ease. There is a little bit of a concern with the speed drawn around him but that should allow him to get a nice sit just behind them in the early stages.

Angel Of Music is a brilliant beginner and she should give a great sight on the , the last 40m is always a worry but if they shuffle up behind her she may be off and gone with the prize.

Sir Charleton is suitably drawn out wide and his most recent victory came here from this draw, there is a fair bit of speed underneath tonight so he will need some luck to get across but he has a big engine and he might be over the odds.

Soul Maker must also be kept safe, she has been racing well at of late and she has the speed to cross them in the early stages.

9MECHA BALE (NSW)[7]Res.34172NBTT Womann (Lara)
10ZORK BALE (NSW)[7]Res.47342NBTT Womann (Lara)

Up And Adam looks ideally drawn in the red and he should get a nice sit in the early stages, he is extremely strong in the run home and he appears to be getting better at navigating his way through a field. This isn't an overly strong race and if you can get around $2.80 or better that appears to be a good bet.

Splash Mountain is a hit or miss beginner but when he steps he is capable of running very impressive sectionals. Last time out he stepped well from a wide draw and he looked very strong in the run home in his impressive 29.64.

Impact Bale doesn't win very often here but he will be suited by the drop in class, he was far from disgraced when placed in his heat and he just needs a clear run in the first 50m to make an impact.

Country Ballad has speed to burn and he could be value, he is improving with every start and he should continue to gain strength with every run.

Texan Star had always showed some ability but last time out at Cranbourne he went to another level. After beginning slowly he went into overdrive off the back straight before posting a dazzling 30.22 Cranbourne win. From the wide draw he should get a clear run early and if he can balance up in the early stages he will prove very hard to hold out.

Razldazl Pacino had no luck in his Australian debut but he is in good hands and he comes here with very strong Irish form, he was knocked over soon after box rise last time and I would expect an improved performance.

Gangnam Style has shown tremendous improvement in his past two runs and he is drawn to lead for a long way. He has been placed in three of four here and he deserves to breakthrough over this trip.

Humming Birdhill is probably the only winning hope, she has been missing the kick of late but if she can mend her box manners she should put herself right into contention.

10DYNA CHASER (NSW)[5]Res.2312329.65(8)S Collins (Lara)

Weblec Rose appears to have finally put it altogether and she looks the goods again tonight. She is beginning a lot better now and she has scored two devastating wins here in recent weeks. Last week she went off the back straight in a scorching 18.72 before stopping the timer in an impressive 29.31 overall, there isn't a whole lot of speed drawn around her tonight so she should get every chance to repeat her impressive performance from last week.

Texas Titan is a class act and although I would prefer him from a wider draw, he still must be considered. Last week he overcame some early and mid race difficulties to score in 29.67 and with an ounce of luck tonight he should be right in the mix again. His PB of 29.57 isn't overly impressive but with a clear run its obvious he is capable of going much faster.

Soda Man is the real deal and he powered to the line in his impressive 29.51 heat win, he is going to need some luck early but I actually think he is better drawn out wide.

Money Come Back loves racing here and he could be the value, he meets a handy lineup but he has been racing well against similar company in recent months.

Tears Siam is a litter sister to the excitement machine Space Star and on pure ability she isn't far off her famous brother, however she can be very unreliable in her races and she doesn't like to be crowded. She should be suited to the wide draw tonight and if she can step on terms she should be able to drive through into a prominent position early and she will then prove too strong for her rivals.

Dzeko had very little luck in her Victorian debut and she should be able to make amends on that effort. She has scored some devastating 600m wins in her home state and if she reproduces that type of form she will be able to post some serious overall times.

Lites And Sirens is a strong type and she will be powering to the line, two starts back she caught the eye when scoring at Cranbourne in a scorching 41.34, she may get too far back to score but she is a must for your exotic bets.

Half Way There has the good draw and if he can hold them out early he becomes a great place prospect, he will struggle in the final 50m but he can hang on for a place.

Quasi Bale is a beast and if he steps cleanly he should blow his rivals away. Last time out he returned to form with a strong 31.02 Ballarat win and he has won here previously in a scorching 33.89. He has a railer drawn underneath tonight so he should get a nice cart across in the run to the first turn.

Wind Whistler is suitably drawn out wide and he recently won here from this draw in a blistering 34.01. He can be hit or miss early so that is a big concern but he does love racing here and he only needs an ounce of luck to feature.

Maximus Glider was a strong 29.39 winner here over 515m recently and he should be suited to this journey, he has only had the one try over this trip previously but based on his racing pattern he should have no trouble with the extra distance.

Untraceable is a big talent but he has been very costly of late, if he goes around at nice odds he may be worth a bet but if he is short I would be steering away.

7BLUE GIANT [4]1357829.51(2)P Akathiotis (Reservoir)
8CRAWF'S BREAD [2]1343429.37(5)D Crawford (Pearcedale)

Crackerjack Max is armed with blistering early speed and if he steps on terms he should have the speed to burn them off at the first bend. Three starts ago he showed a dazzling turn of foot in his 25.22 Ballarat win and he hasn't had a lot of luck since. With slow beginners drawn on either side he should get every chance to score.

Alex's Entity is a gun sprinter and with a clear passage early he would be a serious contender, my only concern with him is that he can be a little hit or miss early, but like the favourite he has slow beginners on either side so he should be afforded a clear passage.

Blue Giant has a big engine and he will be hitting the line hard, he is much better than his form reads and he could be good value in this event.

Zeppelin Bale is the only other winning hope, he is hit or miss early but if you go back through his form he does have a slick 29.95 Meadows win to his credit.

9BOLT ON [5]Res.1136329.47(4)I Brown (Loch)
10YOUNG HENRY [5]Res.65163NBTN Gost (Little River)

Earl Bale is a reliable beginner and he should lead them a merry dance tonight. This race appears to lack genuine speed so with a clean getaway he should burn them off early and as they shuffle up at the first bend he should be off and gone with the prize. He has a handy 29.66 PB here and I think if he leads tonight he should take a length or so off that time and that will be enough for victory.

Dyna Keitaro is well placed in the wide draw and he recently destroyed a handy lineup here when posting a sizzling 29.32. I dont think he can lead tonight but he should settle in the top two or three and he will be very strong in the run to the line.

Black Illusion should follow Earl Bale across in the early stages and he has raced very well here in the past, his lack of mid race speed is a worry but he should still run a big race.

Maximum Chez is better than her form reads and if she goes around at big odds she could be the value, she has some fast wins to her credit and she just needs to sight the lure to regain some confidence.

Very open race and I've given the edge to the well drawn Lektra Outlaw. His recent form doesn't look overly impressive but he was a recent finalist in the Group One and he was far from disgraced in that series. From the red he should be able to hold a forward position early and I would expect him to assume control mid race.

Bottom Dollar is a class act and he should be hitting the line solidly, three starts back he finished powerfully to score at The Meadows in 30.12 and a similar effort tonight will see him threaten for victory.

Vintage Warrior is a classy provincial chaser and he must be respected in his metro debut, he has some very fast wins to his credit and if he happens to find the lead he might be able to break away mid race.

Magic Dream has raced well since coming from NSW and he is drawn to run a big race, his lack of mid race pace is a concern but he will be very strong in the run to the line.

Usain I'm Nutty has a big engine and he has been placed in five of his six tries here. He will settle back in the field early but there is a fair bit of speed underneath him so that should allow him to lob onto the rail soon after box rise. He will need some luck in running but if the gaps open mid race he will take a power of beating.

Alexis Kelton has a great record here over the 595m journey and she will be very strong in the run to the line, she is drawn to get a nice sit behind the red early and if the blue finds bother mid race she should be there to capitalise.

Eye's Adorable looks the obvious leader and she should give a great sight, her last 40m is a concern so I dont think she can win but she is a great place prospect.

Jewel Bale is a class act and although she is a money muncher she still needs to be respected. She loves racing over this journey and after four runs from a spell she should be ready to fire.

Great race to end the night and I think the highly promising Boxhead can get the job done, two starts back he reeled off explosive sectionals in his 25.12 Ballarat win and if he can step cleanly tonight it will be interesting to see what he can do on the clock.

Dyna Brainiac has shown a lot of improvement recently and he capped off a nice stretch of form with a smart 30.02 Meadows in last time. From the red he should hold a prominent spot early and he should be right there at the end.

Dyna Chaser has been placed in eight of nine here and he is drawn to get the run of the race, I dont think he can win but he is a must for the exotics.

Schumacher is the interesting runner, he is racing in rare form at present and if he happens to gain a clear run he should make a big impact.

Top Four: 6 – 1 – 2 – 5
