Tough race to kick off the night but I think the speedy Crackerjack Burn has improved a fair bit of late and he might be able to pinch this event. In recent weeks he has scored two brilliant Ballarat wins around the 25.30 mark and on both occasions he has appeared to hit the line quite well. With a clean getaway tonight he should be able to burn them off early and he may just get away with the cash.
Bowl'Em Out is in good hands and he is another who continues to improve with more racing. Two starts back he led all the way at The Meadows in good time and he followed that effort up with a come from behind win a week later. If he can come out on terms he should be able to settle in the top three early and make his presence felt.
Amaro Bale has the class edge but he can sometimes be a tad unreliable early, he is suited to the rails draw and if he can reproduce his blistering 29.30 effort from last month he will prove hard to hold out.
Dyna Tiber is more than capable and he should return to form from the good draw, he will need some luck in the first 50-metres but from the red he should be afforded all the breaks.
Top Four: 4 – 6 – 2 – 1
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Crackerjack Burn
Exacta: 4,6/1,2,4,6 ($6 for 100%)
Quinella: 4 to rove with 1,2,6 ($3 for 100%)
Trifecta: 4/1,2,6/Field ($18 for 100%)
1st: $7,200 2nd: $2,060 3rd: $1,025.

Another very open race and I think we can find some value with the inexperienced Rudianos. He is still a maiden chaser but this race is not overly strong and he gave a great sight when placed in his heat last week. He should begin well and he showed enough speed last week to suggest that he can lead again tonight, he will be much better for the effort and he could be well over the odds tonight.
Memory Bound was never headed in his heat win and he should be in the mix for the entire journey again tonight. He had been racing very well without winning until last week when he was able to dictate the terms and regain some confidence. That was his first staying effort so he should improve on that effort. Tribal Effort is a strong type and she should be roaring home at the end, she really hit the line hard in her 42.26 heat win and a similar effort tonight will see her give them a fright as they reach the winning post. Maverick Blondie has turned in two strong performances since resuming from a spell and she will continue to get better, I dont think she can win but she is a must for the exotics.
Top Four: 5 – 8 – 6 – 3
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Rudianos
Boxed Quinella: 3,5,6,8 ($6 for 100%)
Exacta: 5,8/3,5,6,8 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 5,6,8/3,5,6,8/1,3,5,6,7,8 ($36 for 100%)

Ikaku Bale has a massive engine and he should be able to atone for his luckless effort here last week when placed in a heat of the Launching Pad. He can be a little risky at box rise but he has good muster and he should be suited with the empty draw on his outside. Three starts back he posted a very impressive 29.54 win here and two starts prior to that he smashed the clock with a blistering 29.60 win at The Meadows.
Dyna Alchemist has turned in two solid efforts after returning from six weeks off and he should be ready to fire over this trip. His two recent efforts have been over the shorter course and they should have sharpened him up for this effort.
Sonic Dash is rising in class but he does possess good early speed and he could hold them out early, he isn't overly strong but if he could pinch a break mid-race that might be enough to score.
Maximum Glider rounds out the chances, he has a terrific record here and he will be charging home at the end. He may get too far back to win but it might be worth anchoring him for second and third in your exotics as he rarely misses a place over this trip.
Top Four: 4 – 3 – 8 – 1
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Ikaku Bale with William Hill
Exacta: 3,4/1,3,4,8 ($6 for 100%)
Quinella: 4 to rove with 1,3,8 ($3 for 100%)
Trifecta: 4/1,3,8/Field ($15 for 100%)
Trifecta: 1,3,4/8/Field ($15 for 100%)

Fuelish is expected to start a short-priced favourite in this but I think we can find some value with the talented and very speedy Brazen Bull. Last week in his heat he missed the kick but showed sizzling mid-race speed and took the lead before getting a little tired in the final stages. From the red tonight he should step a little better and if he holds them out early he might be able to skip away mid-race and steal the prize at nice odds.
Fuelish is a gun youngster and he overcame a couple of difficulties to score in his heat last week. The time wasn't flashy but if he happens to get away cleanly and find the lure tonight he is capable of getting down to the 29.40ish mark.
Chasin Mikado has returned to form in recent weeks and he is ideally placed in the pink draw, he is no world beater but he is strong and he can run home into some minor money.
Top Four: 1 – 6 – 8 – 3
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Brazen Bull
Boxed Quinella: 1,3,6,8 ($6 for 100%)
Exacta: 1,6/1,3,6,8 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 1/3,6,8/Field ($18 for 100%)

Midnight Flynn is all class and he returns to Victoria after a couple of luckless efforts in the Golden Easter Egg Series. He is making his Sandown Park debut but he should be suited to the track and he is well placed in the wide draw. His box manners aren't fantastic but he does muster speed very well and he is quite strong. If he can reproduce the effort which saw him win at The Meadows in a blistering 29.72 he will take a power of beating.
Yanick Allen has been a little disappointing of late but once again she is ideally placed in the wide draw and she is capable of just about anything on her night. I'm expecting her to begin a little better tonight and if she happens to settle in the top three she will be right in the finish.
Frattini is a gun NSW chaser and she didn't have much luck in her Victorian debut at Horsham, she is suited to this journey and I'm expecting a much improved effort.
Flamin' Go has the good draw and she caught the eye with a sizzling 34.24 win here two runs back, if she finds the early lead again she will take some catching.
Top Four: 6 – 7 – 1 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Midnight Flynn with William Hill
Quinella: 6 to rove with 1,2,7 ($3 for 100%)
Exacta: 6,7/1,2,6,7 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 6/1,2,7/Field ($18 for 100%)

This is a seriously good race and there are numerous chances, however I'm happy to go with the reigning Melbourne Cup Champ Luca Neveelk. He hit the deck last time in a heat of the Easter Egg, but he appeared to take no harm from that fall and he should return to form tonight. He is armed with devastating early speed and I think he is good enough to burn off Armed And Ready at the first bend.
Azza Azza Azza should follow Luca Neveelk across in the early stages and he is airborne at the minute. Like Luca Neveelk, he isn't overly strong, but he has won here in a sizzling 29.37 and if he can reproduce that type of run he will be right in the mix.
Sisco Rage is super consistent and he can never be forgotten. In recent months he has been one of the country's fiercest and most in form chasers, with some luck in the early stages he should be able to make a big impact.
Armed And Ready announced his arrival to the big time with a dazzling 29.19 win here last time and he will obviously take some catching, however this is a big step up in class and he is going to receive a lot of pressure throughout the trip.
Top Four: 6 – 7 – 5 – 1
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Luca Neveelk
Boxed Quinella: 1,5,6,7 ($6 for 100%)
Exacta: 5,6,7/1,5,6,7 ($9 for 100%)

Very tough race but Mepunga Treasure has been racing in very consistent style and she deserves to break through. She has raced well over the 600 at The Meadows previously, so if she can step cleanly she will have no trouble covering the journey. In recent weeks she has been showing good dash and strength when placed behind some gun speedsters here over the 515-metre trip, she really looks suited to this distance range.
Oakvale Flyer has the good draw and she might be able to lead for a long way. She has struggled over this trip previously but those efforts were in much stronger company so she should be able to hit the line better tonight if she finds the lead.
Jewel Bale is never far away and she should put herself into contention at the first bend, she has been placed in three of four over this trip and like Mepunga Treasure she is bursting to breakthrough.
Kiltah Magic rounds out the chances, she was solidly placed over the 515-metre journey here last week and she should appreciate the rise in distance.
Top Four: 7 – 3 – 1 – 5
Suggested Bets:
Win bets on Mepunga Treasure and Jewel Bale
Quinella: 7 to rove with 1,3,5 ($3 for 100%)
Exacta: 3,7/1,3,5,7 ($6 for 100%)

Extremely open final and I think whoever finds the early lead is likely to get the cash. Last week Lektra Concord showed great early dash and was always in control when scoring a slick 29.42 heat win. His sectional of 5.04 would be enough for him to hold them out early and he has proven in the past that he is a very hard chaser to get past when on the lure.
Usain I'm Nutty is probably the most talented chaser in the event and if he gets a clear run he is likely to get the cash, however he can miss away and he will be giving some good ones a solid head start. I don't think he will win tonight but I think he will figure in the top four.
Ballerino returned to racing with a top 29.40 heat win last week and he should be able to improve on that effort as it was his first racing for two months. I'm a little concerned about the speed on his outside, but he is a strong chaser and he will push through a brick wall.
Gaucho could be the value in the event, he charged home to score a strong 29.58 heat win and I'm expecting him to show a little more early dash tonight.
Top Four: 1 – 4 – 6 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Lektra Concord with William Hill
Quinella: 1 to rove with 2,4,6 ($3 for 100%)

Another great lineup and I think the classy Spring Leaf is drawn to get the cash. She has turned in some fantastic efforts in recent months and she has been showing brilliant early speed in some of those events. From the red tonight she should be able to push through at the first bend and she will be running time on the lure.
Caustic Bale is an absolute beast and if given a clear run he will take it right up to the red. My only concern with him is that he can make a lot of mistakes early on and he may give the red too big of a head start.
Dyna Yemen is better than his form reads and he shouldn't be too far away, he hasn't really delivered on the promise he showed early but he is still good enough to be competitive in a race like this.
Crawf's Bread rounds out the place chances, he is armed with early speed and he loves racing around this circuit.
Top Four: 1 – 3 – 4 – 7
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Spring Leaf with William Hill
Quinella: 1 to rove with 3,4,7 ($3 for 100%)
Trifecta: 1/3,4,7/Field ($15 for 100%)
Trifecta: 1,3/1,3/Field ($10 for 100%)

In this race, a couple of promising speedsters are set to do battle and I think the hard to follow, but very fast, Broadway Miss can get the job done. She has been sparingly raced of late and she hasn't had a lot of luck in those events, tonight she is dropping considerably in class and if she can step cleanly she should be able to lead from go to whoa.
Flywheel Magic continues to improve and he has won three on the trot at Sale with the latest being in a blistering 24.76. He is armed with brilliant early speed and he should be in the mix for a long way, the last 40-metres is a worry but I think he will perform well.
It's A Bird is in good hands and she has won two of her past three at Geelong in fine style, the rails draw is a big plus and she should run a very big race.
Chancy Be Smooth rounds out the genuine chances, he has won two races over this journey and he can show solid early speed in his races.
Top Four: 7 – 2 – 1 – 4
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Broadway Miss
Exacta: 1,2,7/1,2,4,7 ($9 for 100%)
Quinella: 7 to rove with 1,2,4 ($3 for 100%)
Trifecta: 7/1,2,4/Field ($18 for 100%)

Kerrigan Bale has scored some terrific wins in recent months and she looks very well graded in this event. She is normally a reliable beginner and with a keen railer in box seven she should get a nice cart across in the early stages. She has a fair bit on her rivals and with an ounce of luck she should be winning.
Allen Malik could be the value in the event, he is as honest as they come and he has a solid record over this trip. He can be a little hit or miss at box rise but he musters quickly and he will be fairly strong in the run home.
Repayments is going to be well supported and he obviously has a great chance but I'm a little concerned about all the speed that is drawn around him.
Come On Fantasy is drawn to hold a forward spot early and she should run a bold race. She is better suited to the middle distance, but she is good enough to be a factor in this.
Top Four: 8 – 4 – 1 – 3
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Kerrigan Bale with William Hill
Quinella: 8 to rove with 1,3,4 ($3 for 100%)
Exacta: 1,4,8/1,3,4,8 ($9 for 100%)
Trifecta: 8/1,3,4/Field ($18 for 100%)

Coolan Boy continues to impress and he has scored two brilliant 29.58 wins here in recent weeks. On both occasions he has shown sizzling early speed and he should have no trouble getting across in the early stages. He is rising in class tonight so the last 40-metres might be a worry, but I'm expecting him to set up a nice lead mid-race.
Bruce Tycoon turned in an enormous effort here last week when narrowly beaten in a heat of the Launching Pad, he can be a little hit or miss early but if he comes out he will be fighting out the finish.
Berzerk is armed with a blistering turn of foot and if he is given room early he should put himself into contention early, however he isn't reliable at box rise and he is likely to be under the odds in this event.
Satsuki Bale could be value in this event, she returned to racing with a top 390m Ballarat placing last time and I'm expecting her to show quite a bit of early zip tonight.
Top Four: 8 – 4 – 5 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Coolan Boy and Satsuki Bale
Boxed Quinella: 2,4,5,8 ($6 for 100%)
Exacta: 2,4,8/2,4,5,8 ($9 for 100%)
