Pedro's Runaway has recorded two solid placings here of late and from the pink draw he should have enough speed to cross and lead. His last 50m can be a concern but he has been hitting the line a little stronger of late and if he can land on the bunny he should give a great sight.

Mama Hook is much better than her recent form reads and with the lack speed around her I can see her settling in the top two early and she should make an impact. She has won here previously in a solid 29.75 but if she landed on the bunny she could probably go a little quicker. Julie Bale has the class edge but she is likely to find herself back in the field early. Three starts ago she powered to the line when posting a 30.31 Meadows win and with the same luck in running tonight she should be a major player. Soho Rhythm rounds out the chances, she posted three solid placings here in September and August and she can ping the lids on occasions.

Dyna Perseus will be suited to the smaller field and he really does look to be a moral. Three starts ago he led from go to whoa when scoring here in a slick 42.08 and with the empty draw underneath he should get every chance to repeat the dose. You will be asked to take extremely short odds but I can't see him being beaten.

Just Ducal is an improving stayer and he looks the likely danger after he scored a strong 42.03 win here two runs back. On that occasion he settled much closer to the speed than normal but with tonight's small field he shouldn't get shuffled too far back. Newfire Riley should fill the trifecta spot, he has the good draw and he should either match motors or sit just behind Dyna Perseus in the early stages. He is a long way from his best but outside of the top two there isn't much depth at all, so he should be good enough to hold on for the minor end of the money. If you're looking for one more to put into your exotics, Mimicking could be the value, his effort two runs back wasn't too bad.

8RALPHY CINEL (NSW)[3]2121134.16(4)J Borg (Maryborough)

Mystic Twist can be a little hit or miss early but she has a great record over this journey and it's hard to ignore her recent 29.51 win here over the 515m journey. With a slow beginner on her outside she should get plenty of room in the early stages and she has posted a zippy 9.23 to the first marker here in the past, so with a clean beginning she should get every chance to lead from go to whoa.

Ralphy Cinel is going to be well supported and he has been flying of late, his PB of 34.16 is very impressive but the big concern is that he is yet to win from box eight in five tries. Heidi Go Seek is the interesting runner, she has been racing below her best of late but she steps back up to her favourite distance where she has won three of six. With an empty box underneath she should get a fairly clear run early. Coulta Rock rounds out the chances, he was desperately unlucky here last week and he can atone with a clear passage in the early stages. Tick Bale has gone right off in recent times and you can leave him out.

Come On Fantasy has shown immense improvement in recent weeks at The Meadows and she appears drawn to get every chance in her Sandown Park debut. Two starts ago she pinged the lids and posted a smart 30.08 Meadows win and she then followed that up with a placing behind the in form elite Devil. From the red she should punch through and hold the lead and it's hard to see her being run down whilst running around the 29.50 on the bunny.

Jayney Bale looks the obvious danger, she is coming off a brilliant 29.96 win at The Meadows and she too appears to be improving all the time. The concern with her is that she can bomb the start at times and she lacks a bit of experience. Ronaldo magic flew early in his sizzling 29.43 win here on Sunday and a similar get away tonight should see him settle in a prominent position. This is obviously much harder tonight but he did put the time on the board last Sunday. Maintenance Man could be the surprise packet, he can muster speed very quickly in his races and he has scored some slick wins on the country circuit in his brief career.

Size Does Matter has a huge engine and if he handles the track at his first look he should put a space in them. He recently captured the final and prior to coming to Victoria he had recorded some ridiculously fast wins at Albion Park and . The box draw doesn't really suit but he does possess a great turn of foot soon after box rise so if he can hold out Senor Socks there should be no excuses for him.

Keep Calm is amazingly consistent and from the red he should be prominent for most of the trip. He lacks the brilliance of the favourite but he has good early speed and he will hang in forever. Waymore Blues can be very hit or miss early but from the pink he should get room to muster speed even if he bombs away. He is another very fast chaser when given the breaks and if he goes around at silly odds he is worth a saver bet. Prue Bale has blowout chances, she is much better than her recent form suggests and if she happens to ping she is capable of running the hands off the clock.

Crusade Marjen is an exciting prospect and his effort in a heat of the Cup last week was highly impressive. His box manners aren't great but he drops the hammer very quickly and if given space he could easily burn them off. He has won here previously in a 29.28 and if he gets anywhere near that run he will blow them away tonight.

Babylon Club appears to be the value, last week he ran the race of his life when narrowly beaten by Crawf's Bread over this trip and with a clear run early he should be able to go one better. Musquin Bale has been a little off in recent weeks but he should be suited by the drop back in class. He has enough speed to settle in the top three early and if he finds the bunny mid race that should help him boost his confidence. Mepunga Moss is another down on form and confidence, she used to be a lid pinger but in recent times she has been missing away. If she can find her old form she is more than capable of leading throughout.

9SURVIVOR SAL [5]Res.5756435.24(1)T Cortese (Hampton Park)

Warrior King is a gun chaser and class act and he should be suited by the step up in distance. The box draw hasn't done him any favours but four starts ago he did record a breathtaking 29.30 win here from this draw. He can be hit or miss early but he has a good turn of foot and with a slow beginner drawn on his outside he shouldn't get crowded in the initial stages.

Bazza's Gift will be the over's in the event and he must be included in your quaddies. He is perfectly placed in the pink and he has more than enough speed to cross early. He is a different dog on the bunny and he should be able to regain some confidence if he crosses. Airbound is super consistent and he recently made the talented Dyna Zod look silly when scoring here in 29.61. He is better suited to this trip and he only needs a few gaps to open mid race to be a factor. Mepunga Tiara is another down on form and confidence, she has a brilliant 34.15 PB here and she is only a good beginning away from returning to form. This really could be the value leg of the quaddie, Warrior King is going to start short but there are a number of chances and it's worth taking him on.

Good race and I've decided two go with the well drawn Dream It, his kennelmate My Bro Fabio has him covered for talent but from the red I would expect him to settle much closer to the speed than Fabio and if he can find the lure mid race he will prove extremely hard to reel in. He has won five of nine from this draw and he should be able to make up for his luckless runs in recent weeks.

Campaspe Will is another super talent and his effort to win here two runs back in 29.45 was enormous. He came from off the speed that night but he has more than enough dash to find the early lead tonight. My Bro Fabio will obviously start favourite and he is in rare form, the concern with him tonight is that he is drawn wide and with his lack of early speed I would expect him to be posted wide for most of the journey. Lamia Bale turned in a fabulous effort here last week when she chased the classy Banjo Boy for the entire journey, they went very quick in that race and after being headed early she hung in forever.

With the presence of Se's High Above in this event, the promising Aristotle Bale may go around at big over's. He has won three of nine career starts and all three of those wins were in sizzling times on the provincial circuit. He has experienced no luck at all in his four tries here but tonight he has no speed drawn underneath him and I can see him finding the bunny very early in the event.

Se's High Above is an exciting talent and she really caught the eye with a slick 29.59 debut win here, she was knocked over in her second start here and I think that may have knocked her confidence a bit. Obviously with a clear run she is a major player but I think she may find some trouble in the early stages. Caustic Bale has the good draw and he was a strong 30.46 Meadows winner recently, he musters pace quickly in his races and he should be able to settle in the top two early. Segatashya is the improving type in the event and at the big odds it wouldn't surprise me to see her feature in the finish, her three most recent efforts have been eye catching and she is going to go around at big over's.

Satsuki Bale has come up with the good draw and she looks well placed in this class. Two starts ago she posted a brilliant 450m placing at and she has proven in her brief career that she is a much better chaser on the bunny. From the red she should hold the lead and it's likely she will build up a massive lead mid race.

Blistering Bob was an impressive 29.51 winner from a wide draw recently and in that win he showed dazzling early speed. If he can get away cleanly tonight he should be able to put some pressure on Satsuki Bale, the only concern with him is that his box manners aren't very reliable. Harden Bale is the run on dog in the event, he has been placed in his past four starts and he should be able to drop onto the rail soon after the start.

No No Notorious has been pinging the lids of late and he has won five of his past seven starts in sizzling fashion. The box draw isn't desirable but a clean getaway should see him out in front and away from trouble. One thing in his favour tonight is that Scenic Shot is a railer and he should give No No Notorious a nice cart across in the early stages.

Cette Away returned to form with a strong 29.73 Sale win and her only win here came from this draw. From the red I would expect her to anticipate the start a little better than normal and therefore she should settle much closer to the pace. Dyna Lemmy looked impressive in his slick 25.35 win last time and if he can find the rail in the early stages he will be a major player. Praise Chorus rounds out the winning chances, he is better suited to a shorter trip but he can show blistering early speed and if he holds them out early he may give a great sight.

Race 12 – 515M Grade 5 – 10:58PM

Left Is right is an explosive beginner and he is drawn to make every post a winner. Two starts ago he exited this draw and recorded a brilliant 29.57 victory here. With a similar getaway tonight there should be a similar result but I think he can probably go a little bit quicker.

Black Superman scored here on Sunday in 29.81 after leading all the way and with that being his first 500m effort he should have derived a lot of benefit from that run. I don't think he can win tonight but he should settle in the first two and he can hang on for a place. Veloway is the value, he will be steaming home late and in a race which features a number of front runners he should get every chance to run over the top late. Just A Taste rounds out the chances, he is racing in great form at present and if the favourites miss away he should be there to take advantage.
