Very open race to kick off the night but if Yaris Bale can get away on terms he should be good enough to score. His most recent form is much better than it looks, he has been taking on some very strong company on the provincial circuit and he has turned in some stellar performances. From the red he should be able to just about hold the early lead and he is capable of running very quick sectionals when on the lure.
Glitterbug has a great record here and she is blessed with a heap of talent. Once again she has drawn poorly but she can step well and show pace at times, if she can balance up in the top four she should be right there at the end.
Deano's Gadget could be the value in the event, she has a very big engine and she was far from disgraced when placed here last time out. She has genuine speed and with two slow beginners on her outside she should be afforded all the breaks in the run to the first turn.
Kawasaki Rose and Virginia Rose must be included in your exotic bets, both are more than capable and they could add some value to your quinellas and trifecta's.
Top Four: 1 – 4 – 6 – 7

Win bet on Yaris Bale with William Hill
Boxed Quinella: 1,4,6,7 ($6 for 100%)

Trifecta: 1/4,6,7/Field ($18 for 100%)

Another good race and if Come On Fantasy can step away cleanly she should give a great sight. She is stepping back up in distance tonight and she does have a blinding 34.64 Albion Park win to her credit. There is a fair bit of speed in six and seven, if she can hold them out early she should be able to boot away mid race and score.
Whodat Knockin' is a classy chaser and he should appreciate the rise in distance tonight. He hasn't drawn too well out in six but he should step on terms and that will allow him to push through into a prominent spot as they go past the post the first time.
Clash Of Kings is probably the most talented chaser in the event but he can do a lot of things wrong in his races. The 600-metre journey will definitely suit him but it all comes down to what he does at box rise. If he can get away cleanly he will be burning across and winning, however he seems to miss away more often so he is a big risk from out there.
Rocka Hula Baby rounds out the chances, she is an honest chaser and the red draw should be a big advantage, if she can head to the back in the top three she should figure in the placings.
Top Four: 4 – 6 – 7 – 1

Exacta: 4,6/1,4,6,7 ($6 for 100%)

What's Chewing is an absolute beast when on song and he has won here previously in very good time. He can be a little hit or miss at box rise but over this distance he shouldn't cop as much pressure in the early stages. Three starts back he showed his true talent when recording a sizzling 25.05 Warrnambool win when coming from off the speed. If he can balance up in the top three early he should prove too strong.
Superfonic is making his middle distance debut and if he can get across in the early stages he should give a great sight. I'm not convinced he will run a true 600-metres but if he finds the lead he should break away mid race and that might be enough to steal victory.
Razldazl Pacino has the good draw and he returned to the winners list with a great 30.36 Cranbourne win, from the inside he should settle in a prominent spot and I'm expecting a forward showing.
Starc could be value the place, he is a quality stayer and he should be hitting the line strongly. If the leaders bunch up he could be there to strike as they turn for home.
Top Four: 3 – 8 – 1 – 4
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on What's Chewing with William Hill
Quinella: 3 to rove with 1,4,8 ($3 for 100%)

Noosa Jet is a real up and comer and he appears drawn to play a major role in the event. Two starts back he showed a great turn of foot when scoring here in 30.32 and that was his first look at the track so I'm expecting him to be able to go a little quicker tonight. There is a little bit of speed in the middle but with a clean getaway he shouldn't have too much trouble crossing them.
Greysynd Emma has been racing well of late and she was placed here two runs back. She was pretty unlucky when placed in her heat at Bendigo and with some luck in the first 50-metres she could go one better tonight.
All Bar One has a good record here and she has the speed to settle near the lead, if she happens to go around at the $4 to $5 mark with William Hill she could be at very backable odds.
Gary Doogan is showing plenty of promise and he is going to be quite well fancied. He is making his metro debut so this is a step up in class for him but if he handles the track he shouldn't be too far away.
Top Four: 8 – 5 – 6 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Noosa Jet
Quinella: 8 to rove with 2,5,6 ($3 for 100%)
Exacta: 5,8/2,5,6,8 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 8/2,5,6/Field ($18 for 100%)
1st: $11,500 2nd: $2,300 3rd: $1,150.

Express Lane scored a sizzling 41.66 Cranbourne win two runs back and she followed that effort up with a great heat placing at Bendigo over the 660-metre journey. She isn't a true stayer but this field lacks real depth and she appears drawn to settle in the top two or three early. I'm expecting her to break up the field in the middle stages and that should allow her to get away to a race winning lead.
Tribal Faith was a steady 43.42 winner here three runs back but that was on a heavy track so I expect her to be able to go a lot quicker on the clock. She will settle back in the field early but if she gets out wide and into some open space she should be able to wind up and hit the line strongly.
Vernon Bale rounds out the winning chances, he has been racing very consistently of late and with some luck in the early stages he shouldn't be far away again. He can tend to switch off in his races but if he stays focused he is capable of winning.
Memory Bound has place claims, he hasn't been far away of late and he can show early speed in his races.
Top Four: 8 – 6 – 7 – 3
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Express Lane
Quinella: 8 to rove with 3,6,7 ($3 for 100%)
Trifecta: 6,7,8/3,6,7,8/2,3,4,6,7,8 ($36 for 100%)
Exacta: 6,7,8/3,6,7,8 ($9 for 100%)

Dyna Villa will be starting at a very short quote and it really is hard to tip against him. He has slow beginners drawn on either side and he should be afforded a very clear passage in the first 30-metres. Outside of Allen Deed this is a pretty weak lineup so if he finds the top early he should be able to win with ease.
Allen Deed was just average when resuming from a spell last time out, however he is a little better drawn tonight and if they stay out of his way in the early stages he should be able to balance up in a prominent spot. I don't think he can reel Dyna Villa in but he should grab the quinella spot.
Lektra Utopia is capable of showing smart early speed and he led them a merry dance when narrowly beaten here last week. If he can land on the hammer of Dyna Villa he should have enough in the tank to hang on for some minor money.
Dyna Alchemist could add some value to your exotic bets, he is suited to the rails draw and he will get to the line solidly.
Top Four: 3 – 4 – 2 – 8
Suggested Bets:
Quinella: 3 to rove with 2,4,8 ($3 for 100%)
Exacta: 3,4/2,3,4,8 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 3/2,4,8/Field ($18 for 100%)
Trifecta: 3/2,4,8/2,4,8 ($6 for 100%)

Secret Spell has been struggling of late but she is much better than her form suggests and if she gets away she should set a cracking pace. This is her first try at the middle distance and the manner in which she hits the line over 500-metres suggests that she should be able to get the trip. She has scored some very fast wins over the sprint journey and she does her best racing when she can find the top early. If you get around the $2.80 mark with William Hill that appears to be a good price.
Pipeline Rumour has a big engine and he is showing plenty of promise. He doesn't have a heap of early speed but if he steps well he should get a nice cart across from the seven in the early stages and he will be very strong in the run home.
Rumero Reason is a must for your exotic bets, he has a great record over this journey and he will be hitting the line very hard. He does his best racing from inside draws and if he can settle in the first half of the field he has a great winning chance.
Zipping Eastwood has continued to improve with every run in Victoria and with some luck early he could cause an upset.
Top Four: 7 – 8 – 1 – 5
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Secret Spell
Boxed Quinella: 1,5,7,8 ($6 for 100%)
Exacta: 1,7,8/1,5,7,8 ($9 for 100%)
Trifecta: 1,7,8/1,5,7,8/1,2,4,5,7,8 ($36 for 100%)

Tough race but if Cosmic Yap can begin like he did last week he should take a power of beating. He had been racing in brilliant fashion on the provincial circuit of late and he capped off that stretch of form with a sizzling 29.96 win here last week. He went through the first two sectionals very quickly and a repeat performance will see him lead from go to whoa.
Dyna Brainiac could be the value, he has a great record here and he tends to race well from wider draws. If he gets away on terms he should get a nice cart across from the six early and he should run a big race at good odds.
Shared Bonus will settle on the speed and he should run a cheeky race, his last 50-metres over this trip is always a struggle but if he holds out the outside division he might be able to get away with a race winning lead mid race.
Bruce Tycoon finally gained some luck in running here last week and he took advantage with a top 30.29 win, he is better suited to tonight's rail draw and I'm expecting a forward showing.
Top Four: 6 – 7 – 2 – 1
Suggested Bets:
Boxed Quinella: 1,2,6,7 ($6 for 100%)
Exacta: 1,6,7/1,2,6,7 ($9 for 100%)
Trifecta: 1,6,7/1,2,6,7/1,2,4,6,7,8 ($36 for 100%)
1st: $5,320 2nd: $1,520 3rd: $760.

Spring Leaf is dropping considerably in class tonight and with an ounce of luck in running she should be winning. She can be a little hit or miss early sometimes but the five will carve across in the early stages and that should allow her to get a nice run into the first bend. She has won six races over this journey and if she finds the top tonight she should be able to go well under the 30 second barrier.
Missile Flash has a great record here and she is armed with very good early speed. She has been placed in two of her past three and if she can reproduce some similar form tonight she should give a great sight.
Peloton Bale has a lot of talent but he does find a lot of trouble in his races, he will settle back in the field early but he does have good track sense and he should be able to work home into some minor money.
Dyna Chaser rounds out the serious winning hopes, he is drawn to figure prominently throughout and he could well over the odds.
Top Four: 6 – 5 – 3 – 1
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Spring Leaf with William Hill
Quinella: 6 to rove with 1,3,5 ($3 for 100%)
Exacta: 3,5,6/1,3,5,6 ($9 for 100%)
Trifecta: 6/1,3,5/Field ($18 for 100%)

Diva's Shadow is much better than her recent form reads and the step up in distance should allow her to regain some much needed confidence. She has scored blistering wins here over the 525-metre journey and on those occasions she was able to show devastating early speed. I'm expecting her to pounce on the early lead tonight and if she does find the top she will break them up mid race. The last 40-metres is a small concern but I think she will have enough in the tank to score.
Lakerville is very hard to follow and he can be very costly, however he does hold the 599-metre track record at Hobart and he should be able to settle closer to the speed over this trip. There are a couple of handy ones in this event so you might be able to get over the odds and he could be a good saver bet.
Yanick Allen does her best racing at this track and if she balances up in the top four early she should run a cheeky race, she can miss away at times though so that is a small concern.
Midnight Flynn is a classy customer but he is drawn poorly, however it is still worthwhile including him in your exotic bets.
Top Four: 3 – 6 – 4 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Win bets on Diva's Shadow and Lakerville
Boxed Quinella: 2,3,4,6 ($6 for 100%)
Exacta: 3,4,6/2,3,4,6 ($9 for 100%)
Trifecta: 3/2,4,6/Field ($18 for 100%)

Very tough race but I think if the red can get away on terms he could get the job done. Prior to coming to Victoria he had built up an impressive record in Queensland and he has broken the 30 second barrier at Albion Park. His biggest asset is his mid race speed, so if he can avoid early bother he should be able to assume control mid race and he should prove too classy for his rivals.
Dyna Keitaro can show early speed in his races and he didn't have much luck when finishing just outside the placings here last week. The inside division hold the early speed so I'm expecting him to balance up in the top three early. He is much better than his form reads and he should be a good quinella prospect.
Allen Icarus and Dyna Fatbob both have solid records here and they should be in the mix for a long way.
Top Four: 1 – 3 – 2 – 4
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Messidonna Cloud
Quinella: 1 to rove with 2,3,4 ($3 for 100%)
Exacta: 1,2,3/1,2,3,4 ($9 for 100%)
Trifecta: 1/2,3,4/Field ($18 for 100%)
1st: $5,000 2nd: $1,430 3rd: $720.

Brown Bomber led for a long way when placed here last week and from the red he should give a great sight again. There isn't a whole lot of speed drawn directly outside so he should have no trouble holding them out at the first bend. I'm expecting him to hit the line a little better this week and he appears to be a good bet.
Miss Mayflower can be hard to follow at times but she does have the ability to ping away. I'm expecting her to be around the $8 mark with William Hill and if you're looking for a saver bet she is a great prospect.
Senor Grumpy has returned to racing from a long spell in great style and he really caught the eye when winning at Ballarat in an eye popping 25.01. If he gains a clear passage he will win, however he does tend to miss away and he could find himself in a lot of bother early.
If you're looking for value in your exotics it is worthwhile including Tambay Bale and Vanger Bale, both hit the line solidly in there races and they are well placed nearer the inside.
Top Four: 1 – 3 – 7 – 4
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Brown Bomber
Exacta: 1,3/1,3,4,7 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 1/3,4,7/Field ($18 for 100%)
Quinella: 1 to rove with 3,4,7 ($3 for 100%)
