Shall She Rock has put in two fantastic efforts at Park recently over the 715m journey and from the front mark she will get her chance to lead from go to whoa. With a slow beginner drawn on her outside she should be afforded all the breaks in the early stages, this is her toughest assignment since stepping up in journey but she appears to be getting stronger with every run.

Dyna Willow is a star stayer and she has a fantastic record over this trip, she has now had four runs since a spell and she appears to be at peak fitness now. She comes off the back mark but she should be able to drive through into a fairly prominent spot early. Zipping Rory scored a breathtaking 41.67 Sandown Park win in July and a similar effort tonight would see him take a power of beating.

Lektra Lethal has been very unlucky in recent weeks and from the red draw he should get every chance to return to the winners list. He is better known over shorter trips but he has recorded two placings over this journey previously. There isn't a whole heap of speed drawn on his outer and he has the luxury of a wide runner being drawn directly outside. If you can find $4.50 or better that appears to be great value.

Julie Bale is aiming for a hat trick of wins and her effort to win two runs back was enormous. She is normally a slow beginner but she has uncanny knack of being able to weave her way through a field and into a prominent position. Hetalia Bale improved to score a solid 29.93 Sandown Park win recently and she should be in the mix again, whilst Athos is poorly drawn but he has more than enough talent to score here.

8SALEGREY'S LATE [5]27174FSTDC Johannsen (Devon Meadows)

Spring Leaf loves racing at this track and she should atone for her luckless effort here last week. Normally she is very reliable early but last week she bombed the start and was in trouble soon after. If she can step on terms tonight she should have enough speed to drive to the early lead and she is capable of reeling off very slick sectionals when on the bunny.

Salegrey's Late is favourably drawn out wide and she should be suited to this journey. She would need to settle in the top three to have a winning hope but there isn't a whole lot of early pace so she should have no trouble crossing. Morningside has a heap of ability but she can make a lot of mistakes, if she can get a few breaks in the early stages she should figure prominently. Greywinds Butch rounds out the winning chances, he is very hit or miss early but he does have a slick 34.42 PB here and with a clear run early he can make an impact.

8SISCO GOOD [5]2348430.111(5)R Galea (Brookfield)

Wind Whistler has produced some enormous efforts of late and tonight he finds himself in a race which features a number of runners who can't run out the trip. Three starts ago he unleashed a powerful finishing burst to score at Sandown in a sizzling 29.49 and a similar effort tonight would see him win with ease. This really looks to be his race, if you can land $2.60 or better, that would be good value.

Cette Away is the interesting runner, he form of late has been terrible but she is obviously much better than that and with an ounce of luck early she has the ability to cause an upset. With a slow beginner underneath she should get enough room to muster speed and she will be able to settle a lot closer to the speed than normal. Mepunga Ranger scored a strong Warrnambool win last time and he shouldn't be too far away, whilst Sisco Good is suitably drawn in the pink and he is more than capable on his night.

Mepunga Hayley surprisingly missed the kick at Sandown over 595m last time but she was still good enough to recover and score in a smart 34.35. From the same draw tonight I would expect her to begin a lot better and she will be running some sort of time on the bunny. She is going to be short but it would be silly to take her on, definitely an anchor in the quaddie.

See Him First is drawn to get a nice sit early on Mepunga Hayley and he should put some pressure on her for most of the trip, I dont think he is good enough to reel her in but he should be able to hold on for the quinella spot. Tick Bale has been racing without any luck at all of late and if he can get a clear run early he is a live place chance.

8STARC (NSW)[5]72142NBTA Dailly (Anakie)

Great Spartacus is in career best form and I can see him leading all the way again tonight. Last week he pinged the lids and recorded a 34.71 heat win, the time wasn't too crash hot but he can clearly go a lot quicker than that based on his slick 595m Sandown Park wins in July. The key to the race is the lack of early speed, he has around 2 lengths on most of his rivals to the first marker so he should avoid all the scrimmaging at the first turn.

Noackabout Aussie has the good draw but his lack of early speed and likelihood to ease out early is a big concern. I still think he can win from off the speed but if he is under the odds it is worth risking him. Dream It loves this track and he powered to the line in his 34.73 heat win, once again he has drawn poorly and he will need a heap of luck in running.

8MEPUNGA TIARA [5]11164FSTDJ Britton (Anakie)

Tiggerlong Amigo isn't ideally drawn in the red but he should be able to hunt through at the first bend and hold the early lead. This would be one of the weaker races he has contested for a while and with an ounce of luck early he should get the cash.

Oakvale Flyer should settle on the speed and she is always a chance in these type of races. Two starts ago she showed smart early speed before scoring here in a handy 30.32, the track was off that night and she is capable of going much faster than that. Dyna Ostrander would be my top pick had he drawn closer to the rails. He is a star in the making and he really caught the eye in his powerful 29.56 Sandown Park win last time.

8CAMPASPE WILL [4]5635329.964(8)N Walls (Melton)

Campaspe Will has finally come up with his favourite draw and he gets his chance to return to the winners list. One out he is probably one of the fastest chasers in the country and he is likely to go around at over the odds due to his poor form. With a slow beginner drawn directly underneath and a railer in the six hole, he should get all the breaks as they head into the first turn.

My Bro Fabio is racing in devastating style at present and all he needs is an ounce of luck at the first turn to feature. His 33.94 Sandown win three runs back was absolutely enormous, however he is very slow to begin and he will need a lot of things to go right. Rumbling Rick has the coveted red draw and he is always a chance in these type of races, he would need to lead to win this but he has enough speed to lead and victory wouldn't surprise.

Zipping Maggie has been airborne of late and she looks to have a fair bit on this lot. In her past two starts at Sandown she has pinged the lids and led throughout whilst scoring in a very smart 41.85 on both occasions, if she can repeat those efforts she is likely to put a space in this lot.

Coral had won five on the trot prior to her big defeat at Sandown Park, on that occasion she was knocked over early and never a factor after that, from the pink she should be able to settle much closer to the speed and she should make Zipping Maggie work overtime mid race. I dont think she is good enough to reel in Zipping Maggie but she should hold on to the quinella spot. Paris Sparks and Darbain Dasher appear to be the likely prospects to fill the minor end of the money, both are likely to get back early but they will solidly and won't be too far away at the end.

Dyna Lemmy made his debut here last week and he was far from disgraced when runner up behind the smart NSW speedster War Room. On that occasion he was a little tardy to begin and from there on he had to work overtime to stay in contention. I would expect him to begin a lot better tonight and on the bunny you are likely to see a much faster and dominant chaser.

Young Hawke returned to form at Warragul with a slick 26.05 win and if he can get away with them on terms he should be able to make an impact. His box manners aren't great but he did show good signs last start. Thoughtful Wish appears to be dropping in class and she will be steaming home late, with a clear run early she should be right in the mix, whilst Bourbon Club has been racing well on the country circuit and he appears suitably drawn in the pink.

Very open race but I think the speedy Tropical Oasis can get the job done at nice odds. Last month she scored a steady 30.61 win here but since then she has showed a heap of improvement and she is capable of going much quicker than that. She should be able to settle in the top three early and she should make her race winning move off the back straight.

Ballerino is improving with every run and he powered to the line when narrowly beaten at last time. He is going to need a lot of luck early but with a clear run he is likely to make a big impact. Jaunty Bale will settle on the speed and if there is shuffling behind she may be able to steal the prize

Race 12 – 525M Grade 5 – 11:00PM

Macca's has been powering to the line in his recent efforts and it appears he is drawn to get all the breaks. Last time at he was narrowly beaten in smart time and he is getting better and stronger with every run, I expect the red to lead and he should be able to drive through right behind it at the first turn.

Hello Stranger scored a handy 30.31 win at the start of this month and he hasn't experienced a lot of luck since, if he can step cleanly he should settle in the top two and he is likely to make an impact. Vanger Bale has a heap of ability but his poor box manners have been very costly, if he can get through the first turn unscathed he should be right in the mix as they turn for home. My Turanza has the good draw and he must be respected, the last 40m will be a challenge but he has great mid race pace and the red alley is a big plus.
