Race 1 – 525M Maiden Final – 7:15PM

After stepping slowly, the trained Dyna Yemen showed a tremendous turn of foot to find the early lead, before scoring a brilliant 30.03 heat win. He has drawn awkwardly tonight but with a slow beginner directly outside I'm hoping he will get sufficient room to muster speed. There are a number of strong kennels represented in this, so you might get around the $2.50 mark or better.

Haraka resumed from a three month spell to score a strong 30.63 heat win and he would have derived a lot of benefit from that run, the red draw is also a big plus. Bekim Rose, although well beaten in her heat, was far from disgraced. After finding trouble early she hit the line strongly and she will continue to improve.

Top Four: 5 – 1 – 6 – 2

Suggested Bet: Boxed quinella 1,5,6 ($3 for $1)

Race 2 – 525M Grade 5 – 7:37PM

Lektra Lethal made his debut here last week after scoring some impressive provincial wins. After a steady start he was posted wide for most of the trip and weakened in the run home. Tonight he should be able to punch through and lead and I think he will run out the trip a lot better.

Hot Whirl hasn't raced with a lot of luck in recent starts and she should be suited by the big drop in class. Four starts ago she hit the line strongly when beaten by the promising Spring Leaf by less than three lengths. Quiver Bale has the potential to cause an upset if he gets a clear passage through the first turn.

Top Four: 2 – 6 – 5 – 4

Suggested Bet: Have a crack at Lektra Lethal, should lead and well graded

Race 3 – 600M Grade 5 – 8:00PM

Dyna Orion has produced some stellar performances in recent weeks over the 500m journey and every time he has given the indication that the 600m trip will suit. His most impressive performance came when he stormed home from last to score here in a handy 30.26. The pink draw on the bend start is always a worry, but I think he can get through unscathed.

Agent Ace has raced in consistent fashion since resuming from a long spell and he should be suited by the step back up to 600m. He can ping the lids at times and with a clean beginning he will be a major player. Zipping Makka has a big engine and I would expect him to be hitting the line hard. He is a great anchor for third and fourth in your exotics bets.

Top Four: 8 – 6 – 7 – 4

Suggested Bets:

Trifecta: 6,8/4,6,7,8/1,2,4,5,6,7,8 ($30 for $1)

Exacta: 6,8/4,6,7,8 9 ($6 for $1)

Race 4 – 525M Grade 5 – 8:20PM

Lektra Brave gapped a smart field when scoring at on Wednesday in a speedy 25.32 and he looks well placed again. With a fast beginner drawn underneath and a slow beginner drawn outside, he should get a clear run in the early stages and I'm tipping him to run sub 30 untouched.

Dyna Yenite recorded two impressive placings here earlier this month and his first sectionals indicate that he should settle in the first three tonight. He has a handy PB here and he should be good value. Galahad appears to be the smokey in the event. After a string of poor performances, he showed good signs with a top placing behind the in form Deadly Vane at .

Top Four: 4 – 6 – 8 – 3/b>

Suggested Bets:

Win bet on Lektra Brave

Quinella, 4 to rove with 6 & 8

Race 5 – 525M Mixed 4/5 – 8:38PM

Dyna Filbert is as honest as they come and he should get every chance to return to the winners list from the favourable red alley. He faces a significant drop in class tonight and this race doesn't appear to have a lot of early speed.

Kid Maximus is suitably drawn out wide and he recently broke five seconds to the first marker when scoring at Park in a very zippy 29.57. He would need to reproduce the same speed to the first marker to cross, but if he does he will play a major role. Trail Blazing is very unreliable but he does have enormous talent.

Top Four: 1 – 8 – 3 – 4

Suggested Bet: Win bet on Dyna Filbert.

Race 6 – 600M Special Event – 8:57PM

Superstar Xylia Allen just continues to wow spectators and if she find the lead early tonight I think she can add a seventh to her resume'. Last week she bounced back to her best with a dashing 715m Sandown Park win and in the process she recorded ridiculously fast sectionals. You will be asked to take $1.60 or shorter, but I'm not game enough to take her on.

Allen Eryk appears to be the only danger in the event. He is unbeaten over this trip and he would have been sharpened up by his sizzling 29.43 Sandown Park win last week. He is fairly reliable early and he should be able to go with the favourite for quite a while. Dyna Kayla is resuming from a short spell and she should be primed for a bold first up showing.

Top Four: 5 – 6 – 7 – 1

Suggested Bets:

Trifecta: 5/1,6,7/Field ($18 for $1)

Trifecta: 5/6/Field ($6 for $1)

Exacta: 5/6,7 ($2 for $1)

Race 7 – 525M Grade 5 – 9:20PM

Nothing Much's form doesn't appear to be too flash on paper but he has been racing without a lot of luck and looks well placed in this event. Tonight he has a railer drawn directly underneath and this should allow him to gain a clear passage in the early stages. There are a couple of handy types in this event, so we might be able to get around $6.50 or better.

Victa Bale has found loads of bother in his two recent runs here and tonight he should be able to make amends. He is normally a reliable beginner and he should have sufficient speed to hold them out at the first bend. Humphrey Bale has a slick 29.98 PB here and a repeat of that will see him be a major player.

Top Four: 4 – 3 – 8 – 1

Suggested Bet: Win bets on Nothing Much and Victa Bale, both should be good odds.

Race 8 – 525M Free For All – 9:40PM

Dyna Beth has been racing in very consistent fashion and her box manners have improved tremendously over the past few weeks. Tonight she will either lead or be vying for the early lead and she may just steal the prize at big odds.

Gimme Fuel pinged the lids before breaking the 30 second barrier here earlier this month and if he can step cleanly again he should be up on the speed with Dyna Beth. I think he may get burnt off mid race but he appears to be a solid quinella prospect. Peloton Bale returned to his best with a top 27.09 win earlier this week.

Top Four: 4 – 3 – 5 – 6

Suggested Bet: Win bets on both Dyna Beth and Gimme Fuel, Buckle Up Mason will be short so those two should be value.

Race 9 – 600M Grade 5 – 10:05PM

The in form Musquin Bale should continue his red hot form and he appears to be the bet of the night. Four starts ago he led throughout when scoring at Sandown in a scorching 34.20 and tonight's field is very mediocre outside of Tick Bale. You should get around $2.50 and that is a solid investment.

Tick Bale is the obvious danger and last week at Sandown he was super impressive. After finding early bother he made a strong charge off the back straight and went on to score in a smart 34.40. With some luck early he looks a monty for the quinella. If you're looking for a place bet, the strong finishing could be a solid investment. He doesn't win a lot of races, but he tends to run home into second and third quite often.

Top Four: 7 – 4 – 3 – 1

Suggested Bets:

Trifecta: 7/4/Field ($6 for $1)

Trifecta: 7/1,3,4/1,3,4 ($6 for $1)

Trifecta: 7/1,3,4/Field ($18 for $)

Race 10 – 525M Grade 5 – 10:25PM

The pacy Molly Monroe should have far too much early speed for this lot and I expect her to have built up a solid five length lead off the back straight. Her last 50m is always a concern but I think she should have enough in the tank to hold on.

Blue Viper has been placed in six of her past seven starts and she should be in the mix once again. When given room to move she is a very fast galloper, however she can find a lot of trouble in her races. He Isn't Really is the run on dog and he is a great dog to anchor for third and fourth in your exotic bets.

Top Four: 2 – 4 – 3 – 8

Suggested Bets:

Trifecta: 2/3,4,8/Field ($18 for $1)

First Four: 2,4,8/2,4,8/3/Field ($30 for $1)

First Four: 2,4,8/2,4,8/Field/3 ($30 for $1)

Race 11 – 525M Grade 5 – 10:42PM

Quick beginner Access is facing an enormous drop in class and if he can reproduce his brilliant 29.43 winning effort at Sandown Park in April he should gap this field. His past couple of runs have been at and tonight he returns to a more favourable track.

Ever Alert is blessed with loads of ability, but his poor box manners can bring him undone on occasions. The wide draw should suit tonight and if he gets through the first bend he is a major player. Rorshach Bale appears to be the only other winning hope.

Top Four: 2 – 8 – 3 – 6

Suggested Bets:

Win bet on Access

Trifecta: 2/8/Field ($6 for $1)

Race 12 – 525M Grade 5 – 11:02PM

Shall She Rock was knocked over three or four times here last week and she still managed to storm home and grab second spot. Tonight she should be able to find the rails a lot earlier and with a clear passage she should prove too classy.

Fearless Bert is a super talent but he is also extremely unreliable. If he can get anywhere near his breathtaking 29.79 PB he will be in the mix. Penn Bale looks to be the only other winning hope. He scored an impressive 30.11 win here last week and he appears favourably drawn in the red.

Top Four: 4 – 6 – 1 – 5

Suggested Bet: Win bet on Shall She Rock, rove in quinella with 1,5,6.

Quaddies

1,8/5/3,4,8/2,3,4,5,6,7 ($36 for $1)

1,3,4,8/5/3,4,8/3,4,5,6 ($48 for $1)
