Dyna Yemen is an exciting prospect and he should prove hard to beat based on his blistering 25.22 win recently. The Ballarat effort came after three luckless efforts here, at Ballarat he was able to begin a lot better and once he found the bunny he was able to regain some confidence. Back in May he kicked off his career with a sizzling 30.03 win, so a repeat of that effort would see him figure prominently.

Satsuki Bale is unbeaten in two runs to date at Geelong over the 400m journey and on both occasions she appeared to hit the line quite strongly. Obviously this is a rise in class and distance but her efforts at Geelong were too hard to ignore. Wayfarer could be the value in the event, she is armed with early speed and I would expect her to set the pace. Last start she was in contention for most of the journey and went down by less than a length, a similar performance tonight would see her figure in the finish.

Bing's Bro was never out of trouble here last time and I would expect him to show tremendous improvement at good odds. Four starts ago he scored a commanding 23.40 win and a repeat of that effort would see him be a major player in this event. With average beginners drawn either side he should get plenty of room to muster speed in the early stages.

Dyna Fatbob has been racing consistently without winning of late and if he can cross early he should be right in the mix. He is having his first look here so he will need a bit of luck as they head into the first turn. Noddy Holder could be a nice place bet and a great anchor for second and third in your exotic bets. He will get a long way back early but he is expected to his the line strongly and he shouldn't be too far away. My Turanza has the good draw and if he steps cleanly he may be able to make an impact.

Aston Pearson has scored two brilliant wins to date and she looked super impressive in last week's 30.07 heat win. Her sectionals in her first two starts indicate that with a clean get away she should be able to hold the early lead again. She improved by three lengths here last week and I think she can probably find another length or two tonight.

Secret Spell has come up with the coveted red draw and she hit the line quite strongly in her 30.29 heat win last week. I don't think she has the speed to hold out the favourite early but she should be able to apply some pressure mid race. Emrys has been far from disgraced in his two heat efforts to date and he exits a similar wide draw tonight, if he gets through the turn unscathed he may cause an upset.

9ULLA ALLEN (NSW)[5]Res.87346NBTS Collins (Lara)

Lady Goldenpaw is a reliable beginner and she tends to do her best racing over this track and trip. There isn't a lot of speed drawn underneath her tonight so if she can get away on terms she should have sufficient speed to cross and she will prove very hard to reel in.

Dyna Yenite is another reliable beginner and he should match motors with Lady Goldenpaw for most of the journey, his last 30m isn't great but he should be able to hold on for the quinella spot. Allen Gizmo is never far away in this type of company and he is suitably drawn out wide, he has a great record here and with some luck early he can feature. Galahad isn't well drawn but he has also races well here and he has the ability to work his way through the field mid race.

8BIG KAT [5]FT135NBTC Schlensog (Anakie)

Beks continues to race well at present and with some luck in the first 50m I think he should be able to settle a little closer to the speed tonight. He has been placed in six of his eight tries here and two starts ago in a handicap event, he gave tonight's favourite a head start and he only went down under a length. I don't think Shall She Rock will get as far in front mid race tonight so he should be able to run over the top.

Bekim Hatrick is drawn poorly in the red but if he can balance up and get into some open space without too much trouble he should be able to make an impact. He has scored some fast wins in his brief career and he only needs an ounce of luck early. Shall She Rock will start the favourite and she is a great chance of notching up a hat trick of wins. I would expect her to lead for a long way but she meets some strong company tonight and they may just reel nab her in the concluding stages.

10DOUBLE RINSE (NSW)[5]Res.31753NBTA Dailly (Anakie)

Ruff Cut Diamond was desperately unlucky here last week and with a better getaway tonight she should return to the winners list. Four starts ago she set the track alight with a scorching 29.26 Park win and I believe that she is a better chaser over this longer journey. If she happened to pounce on the bunny early I think she can get close to the 34 flat mark.

Starc continues to improve and race impressively, he hit the line to score a 34.64 heat win and he shouldn't be too far away again. Dyna Glinda flew to the first marker last week and she still hit the line quite strongly to score a smart 34.43 heat win, a similar performance tonight would see her figure prominently, however there are a few strong ones in this event so she will need to a big break mid race.

10YABBA DABBA DEE [5]Res.4382330.24(1)D Irby (Rosebud)

Cette Away has the good draw and she showed tremendous improvement when placed in her heat last week. From the red she should have sufficient speed to punch through early and if she turns in front she will take a power of beating.

Hankos has been racing in good style of late and he should be in the mix throughout. He is normally a reliable beginner and he is probably dropping a little in class from his most recent efforts. Feikuai Zack is aiming for a hat trick of wins and with some luck early he can complete that feat, however there is plenty of speed drawn in the four, so he will need a few things to go right in the first 50m. Tweak is a strong type and he should be running home into the minor money, the wide draw doesn't suit but he races well here and he has the ability to either lead or come from off the speed.

8OLLIE BALE (NSW)[4]1272529.84(3)A Dailly (Anakie)

Allen Deed is possibly the hottest greyhound in training at present and with a clear passage early he should get the job done again. Three starts ago he smashed a quality line-up at Sandown in 29.31 and he did the same when scoring at Ballarat last time in a blistering 30.57. He can bomb the start at times but he is racing in devastating form and I'm tipping he will step cleanly tonight.

Campaspe Will has scored two brilliant wins here from the pink of late and he should figure prominently again, it's a tougher ask from this draw but he is capable of overcoming some early difficulties. Buckle Up Mason loves racing here and he is never far away, from the red he should settle near the speed and he can hold on for a place. Astronomic rounds out the winning hopes, he has broken 30 seconds in his two wins here and he has the early speed to cross.

Dyna Orion is a strong type and he powered to the line when scoring at Sandown recently in 34.65. There is a bit of speed drawn underneath his tonight so that should allow him to find the rail early and he should get a great sit in the early stages. He is likely to be nice odds again tonight and he could be a great Each Way bet.

Groove Girl is racing in great form of late and she looked super impressive in her 34.49 Sandown Park win. If she can ping the lids again she should find the early lead and she will prove very hard to reel in. Blinker's On returned to form with a sizzling 34.20 Sandown win last time and he is expected to start short odds tonight. The wide draw is a bit of a concern and I think place prospects appear best tonight.

Top Four: 5 – 3 – 8 – 1

Wind Whistler is an absolute beast and after eight placings in eight tries here he should finally open up his account at The Meadows. He is likely to settle back in the field but once he gets some open space off the back straight he will unleash an amazing sprint and he should run over the top of these late. He is a really exciting prospect and he appears to be getting better with every run.

Gaudi is the likely leader and he will be running some time on the bunny, however his last 50m is always a worry over this journey and I dont think he will be able to hold off Wind Whistler late. Dello Bale has a heap of talent and if he can find the rail in the early stages he will be a major player, whilst Dyna Fancy has a great record here and she should settle in the top two and therefore she becomes a great place hope.

Bridgeson is a highly promising sprinter and she looks well placed in this event. She comes into this event having scored a slick 27.15 Horsham win in her previous start and on that occasion she showed a brilliant turn of foot soon after box rise. If she can get away with them on terms tonight she should have more than enough speed to cross and she will prove far too good for these.

Erza Allen returned to form with a solid 30.28 win here on Wednesday and she should get a nice cart across from Bridgeson in the early stages. Chief's Choice has been racing well without winning of late and he could run a big race at odds tonight, he is armed with early speed and he may just hold them out early. Bourbon Club is ideally drawn out wide and he has been placed in two of his three tries here.

Race 12 – 525M Grade 5 – 11:00PM

Summer Wages is a reliable beginner and he caught the eye with an all the way Sandown Park win last time in 29.74. There isn't a whole lot of speed drawn around him tonight so he should get every chance to lead again and he will prove too classy for these. If you can get around the $2.20 mark or better, that is value.

Allen Nemo is suitably drawn out wide and he has a great record here. When given room early he is capable of mustering speed quickly in his races and he should be suited by the drop in class. Dyna Nico turned in a great performance when placed at Ballarat on Wednesday and she has won here previously in a very zippy 30.15. Feikuai Molly rounds out the winning chances, she is very hit or miss early but she is capable of reeling off fast sectionals when she lands on the bunny.
