Greyhound racing best bets, November 9, 2017

R5 No.4 Squeak Scolari: has been racing against some much tougher opposition than she meets here today and the rise in trip is a massive advantage. Box four will do her no favours, but she only has to stay out of trouble around the first turn and she should be far too good for her rivals here today.

Albion Park R6 No.1 Another Norris: Has been racing in ultra-consistent fashion and has taken a real liking to the 600m trip at Albion Park. Drawn perfectly in box one to punch up along the fence in the early stages and finish too strongly for his rivals.

Albion Park R8 No.1 Cyndie's Magic: Will be out the back in the early stages, but box one is much more suitable than the wide draws she has been contending with lately. She is the kind of dog which always needs luck, but even as a rising five year old she is still going well enough to mix it with the best in the state.

Angle Park R1 No.7 Windmill Haze: Last start winner of the 3 Gawler Cup and he won't mind being drawn off the fence for this assignment. If anything this race is probably a drop in class for him and if he times the start right he is capable of breaking 30 seconds which they'll find hard to catch on the bunny.

Angle Park N9 No.4 : Has won his past three starts heading into this race including a brilliant win in the Stayers at . This is a gigantic drop in class for him and, to put it bluntly, he only needs to stay on his feet to be winning.

Sandown Park R4 No.1 : One of the best greyhounds in Australia and this is a drop in class for him. Not the best into stride but if he can balance up from box one and get a clear run through to the first turn he should just be winning.
