Leg 1 – Dapto – Race 6: Tullabong Honey To Win $2.20
Tullabong Honey is a reliable beginner and she recently caught the eye when scoring in a heat of the Canberra Cup. She didn't have much luck in the final and after missing the starts she was never really a factor. Tonight she exits the red draw and she generally spears the lids from the inside and she should have enough speed to hold out Fantastic Roxy in the run to the first turn. This is a nice drop in class for her and at the $2.20 quote she appears to be a nice bet.
Leg 2 – Shepparton – Race 8: Scrubby Nichols To Win $2.25
Scrubby Nichols is much better than his form reads and he has been taking on some quality opposition in recent months. The draw isn't great for him tonight but he normally steps quite well and he does have a good turn of foot, so with an ounce of luck in the first 50m he should be able to roll to the top and he should prove too strong for his rivals. I am expecting him to start odds on, so I suggest you snap up the $2.25 early.
Leg 3 – Albion Park – Race 6: Magic Kitchen To Place $3.10
Magic Kitchen can be a little hard to follow at times but there is no doubting her talent and if she happens to step away she will take a power of beating. Two starts back she hit the line well and scored a commanding 35.05 win here, tonight there isn't a lot of speed drawn around her, so she should be able to settle in the top four and if she does I can't see her missing a place. She appears to be good value at around the $3 mark.
