La Grand Logie bounced back to form with a commanding 30.06 victory at Wentworth Park last week and he looks poised to go back-to-back tonight. The son of El Grand Señor and Oh Em Gee has drawn box seven, but he should have the speed to cross and he will prove very hard to catch if he can find the lure.
Leg 2 – WIN – Maja Mahi Mahi – Wentworth Park Race 4 No. 6 @ $2.25
Maja Mahi Mahi looks to be a very promising young pup and she was a slick winner at Wentworth Park two starts ago when clocking 30.10. Last start she stepped up steeply in grade, but wasn't disgraced when running fourth in a heat of the Group 1 Futurity. She looks well suited in this grade tonight and she should prove too good, despite being drawn awkwardly.
Leg 3 – WIN – Black Frenzy – Ballarat Race 7 No. 6 @ $1.40
Black Frenzy didn't let us down last week with a ripping win at Warragul. He is armed with terrific early speed and there should be no reason why he can't do it again – don't let the short odds scare you away.
