Sportsbet sets tongues wagging with 50 Shades Of Greyhound ad

ONLINE bookmaker has sparked controversy with its new ad, a parody of the upcoming 50 Shades of Grey movie which features a woman in a romantic relationship with a greyhound.

The tongue-in-cheek clip portrays a woman in a series of suggestive situations including rolling around a bed in lingerie, seductively applying her lipstick and wearing a studded dog collar, and even features a jar of peanut butter.

The one minute, 50-second parody ends with the woman being chased by the greyhound while she is dressed as a giant white rabbit.

It is so wrong that it is right.

“Sportsbet is giving doggy style a whole new meaning in a production that will leave you hot under the collar,” reads Sportsbet's press release in relation to the video.

Many greyhound participants have appreciated the humorous intention of the advertisement, applauding the work of the Sportsbet team.

While other viewers have been less effusive about the ad, it has certainly attracted plenty of attention and there is no denying the cleverness and wit involved in its creation.

The ad is said to have been produced to help promote the sport of greyhound racing and to raise awareness for the Program.
