Group 3 Globe Memorial Easter Chase Field Finalised

The field for the 2009 Group 3 Globe Memorial Easter Chase Invitation has been finalised with some of Australia’s best staying talent available accepting nomination into this $20,000 to the winner 720m feature race.

A panel of “greyhound experts” comprising representatives from Sky Channel,The Catching Pen, News Limited, GRNSW, GHRRA, National Greyhound Form and the GBOTA, considered a number of greyhounds decided on the final field. Australian Racing Greyhound did not have a representative on the panel.

This is the second year that the field has been selected on an invitation basis.

  1. Hi Brent – I’m sorry, but for whatever reason Jeff Browne chose to exclude us from the selection panel, so all we got sent was the final field. Looking at which media outlets they included in the selection panel, it doesn’t take a rocket scientest to work out which “media clique” panelists were considered expert by Browne and the GBOTA.
