The countdown is on to the Final of the Kerry Agribusiness Irish St. Leger. The Kerry Agribusiness Irish St. Leger carries with it a prize fund of €62,000 and is the biggest event in the Limerick Racing Calendar.
Speaking about the Kerry Agribusiness Irish St. Leger, Imelda Cahalan Sales, Commercial & Operations Manager of Limerick Greyhound Stadium said, “This has been an extremely thrilling competition by anybody’s standards. The calibre of the entrants this year has been second to none and we look set to have a very exciting Leger Final this year. Two of the six have reached the final unbeaten – Priceless Sky and the Irish Greyhound Derby champion, Skywalker Puma.”
Limerick Greyhound Stadium is pleased to announce that the Final of the Kerry Agribusiness Irish St. Leger will be broadcast live on Saturday 24th November 2012. Viewers from around the world will be able to view the final on RTE News Now which is available on www.rte.ie. The programme will be available to view from 22.10 (GMT) and the Final will be shown live at 22.15. The half hour programme will also include a review of the night’s racing from Limerick.
“We see the lift that live TV & online creates every year with the key races from around the country”, said Imelda Cahalan. “It is a great boost that Limerick will be broadcast live to not only the nation but to a wider worldwide audience”.
