NANGAR Jill (Where's Pedro x Bella's Fancy Feb '16) stamped herself as a star on the rise with a super win in the (520m) at Wentworth Park on Saturday night.

Trained by Dennis Barnes at Cudal, Nangar Jill stepped well off box one and pushed her way to the lead in the early stages. Once out in front she was never in danger, racing to the line to defeat kennel mate Nangar Ace ( x All Too Fancy May '16) by two lengths in a handy 30.23.

The white and black bitch has now won three from three, having also claimed her heat and semi-final of the series.

After the Magic Maiden final things continued to heat up in the Group 3 when roughie Big Black (El Grand Senor x Time And Money Feb '15) upstaged equal favourite Aston Duke ( x Aston Elle Jan '16).

The race was lead by classy front runner Two Jay (Fabregas x Screaming Bikini Apr '15) but approaching the home turn she was swamped, with Aston Duke assuming the lead.

Many punters thought the Jason Mackay-trained greyhound was home, but 37-kilogram racer Big Black had other plans, diving at Aston Duke on the line to win by half a length in 30.04.

It was a deserved group win for Big Black which had previously made the final of the Group 2 , the Group 3 Nowra Puppy Classic and the Riches.

Winsome Money made good use of box one, bouncing straight to the front and leading all the way in a fast 29.86.

It was just outside his personal best, with the black dog now having won his past three outings and five from 13 overall.

The other feature race of the night, the Listed , was taken out by speedy front runner (Collision x Unbelief Dec '15).

The Neil Staines-trained racer pinged the lids and took early control of the race, holding off a swarm of challengers to defeat Lagoon Rhett (Cosmic Rumble x Lagoon Lowanna Sep '15) and Rita's Boy (Collision x Ritza Rita Jun '15) in a slick 29.96.

The black dog is building a formidable record, having now saluted at 17 of his 37 starts, with prize money now in excess of $35,000.

The Association Cup was an upset result, with Simon Keeping upstaging raging favourite Rippin' Sam (Fernando Bale x Tears Siam Feb '16).

Later in the night, the Golden Easter Egg was taken out by bonny bitch Up Hill Jill ( x Where's Demonica Feb '15) which seized the title from Striker Light (Kc And All x Pretty Fancy Mar '15) in the last stride.
