Up to ten heats will be run on Tuesday night June 7, with semi-finals on Tuesday night June 14 and the big final on Tuesday night June 21.

The Gosford Club has also received permission from GRNSW to stage claiming races on a trial basis. A set of governing these races has been agreed upon and the Gosford Club is planning on staging at least one claiming race during the month of June.

These claiming races over 515m will be restricted to 4th and 5th grade greyhounds or a combination of both and the maximum claiming price will be $5,000.

The club is hoping that by staging these races some new owners may be attracted to our sport by being able to purchase a ready to race greyhound at a reasonable price.

As you can see, during the months of May and June Gosford will certainly be “The Place to Race”.
