Mighty Albert Mighty Impressive in 30.01 Wenty Win

Last Saturday Tracey Becroft deputised for her husband Norm, trainer of their very talented galloper , to land the greyhound's fifth win at over the 520 metres from eleven starts at the track.

Tracey was all smiles after the victory, delivered in emphatic fashion, with an all the way win in best of night time of 30.01. Mighty Albert snapped his nearside front leg about a year ago and now races with a plate and screws inserted but this has not affected his performance.

“You can see clearly where the plate is,” Tracey said.

“It all calcified over and the vet said we can leave it in place permanently unless there's a problem,” she added.

Mighty Albert's previous best winning time at the track was 30.07 in winning the inaugural Super Series final on August 17.
Mighty Albert a Nov 06 Lindale Blue x Flying Kokomo dog has now won 23 and placed 10 from 44 starts.

Flying Kokomo had a very successful racing career, trained by Sue McDermott for owner from whom the Becrofts purchased Mighty Albert.
