In between all of this they train a few dogs, and their work was rewarded last with a winning treble.

Wicked Twist kicked off proceedings when won the Westlawn Finance maiden from box five. She took over in the back section and scored by 3 1/2 lengths clocking 23.69. The well performed Aquired was next to salute, when she won her heat of the Blue Paws sprint. She went straight to the lead and ran 23.03, the best time for the short course.

To cap off the day, made it two on the trot winning the Casino RSM Club stake. She rattled home and got the judge's verdict in a “blanket” finish.

Lismore trainer was also in the limelight preparing a winning double. made it four wins in a row by winning her heat of the Blue Paws sprint in 23.33. She raced away after getting to the front down the back, and won by five lengths. Her litter sister, , converted the double by winning the last race in exactly the same time. She led from the first bend, and got in by a 1/2 length.

The fourth heat was won by Kerlsey Kate prepared by George Morschel. She also hit the front going into the back straight, and romped in by 5 1/4 lengths. She ran 23.27.

Trainer Benny Russell's patience was finally rewarded when Jaydo's Neglect won the Mc Donald's Pharmacy maiden. She has been placed at her last five starts, and finally broke through. She just kept getting rails runs, and won by 2 3/4 lengths. So determined is she, that another win is just around the corner.

Growth State caused somewhat of an upset when she took out the Big Dog Racing Supplements distance event. Near home, there were dogs everywhere, but little Growth State stuck her head out at the right time to claim the prize. Jim Hicks trains this daughter of Sir Florian, and he gave all of the credit to his wife Rayner who greatly assists in her preparation.

Rob Andrews kept up his good rate at Casino when Within Site ran 27.94 to win the Valley Pet Supplies, and Maurie Mc Cardle landed the quinella in race ten, when beat kennelmate Iron Steed in 27.82.

Last week's trainer of three winners, Shane Robinson kept his hand in by winning the Ranvet Free For All with . She held off all challenges to run 23.39 and won by 1 1/2 lengths.

Casino will race another star studded eleven race TAB card next Friday afternoon.
