Richmond Officially Open New Patrons Lounge
Friday, September 5th, 2008 saw the official opening of the newly renovated Patron's Lounge and De Bortoli Function Room.
Local Londonderry Member, the Honourable Allan Shearan, opened the facility at a function held in the Club's Committee Room.
Allan Shearan, in his speech, congratulated Richmond Race Club on the provision of a first class venue for the conduct of greyhound racing.
He also acknowledged the support and assistance of Greyhound Racing NSW who provided most of the funding for this facility under the Venue Master Plan initiative.
Brent Hogan, CEO of GRNSW, said “On behalf of the industry, I would like to acknowledge the fine efforts of all those involved in completing this refurbishment with a special mention to GRNSW Club Services Manager, Katrina McHattan who led the project”.
