Felgate’s Matching Molly Campbell Silver Dollar Outcome

Paul Felgate's Matching Outcome will be looking for a repeat performance this Thursday night after finishing the fastest qualifier for the Molly Campbell Memorial Silver Dollars final.

Matching Outcome clocked 30.11 to win by two and a half lengths from last week, and will start from box four in tonight's final.

The Molly Campbell Memorial Silver Dollars Final will be held this Thursday night at Albion Park (race eight).

The memorial race was named after greyhound racing enthusiast, and Queensland Greyhound Form Guide pioneer, Molly Campbell, who passed away in 1998.

While Matching Outcome is likely to start favourite, the race will be hotly contested by some other promising Brisbane greyhounds. The biggest query with Matching Outcome will be his erratic box manners.

Beverly Chappell's Quays on Logan will jump from box six after winning her heat in a best time of 30.31 from box five. A repeat performance on Thursday night will see her right in the finish.

Other good performances in the heats included Berella Rhianna, who ran 30.45, and Same Consequence, who ran second to Matching Outcome in heat three.

The Molly Campbell Memorial Silver Dollars is accompanied by a card of thrilling racing at Albion Park, including the Susan Harris Best Eight over 520m (race seven).

Four in-form dogs will fight it out in this local derby including last week 12-1 winner Stone Cold Sober.

After unlucky runs in his past three starts, the Michael Menken-trained greyhound returned back to winning form posting a blistering best time of 30.06 from box three.

Starting from a favourable box two this Thursday night, Stone Cold Sober will be looking to jump well again.

Other contenders of this race include , who was proven form over 520m with a best time of 30.03 earlier this year and , who will be looking to repeat his strong finishing winning performance from Monday night also.

Race five, the Give Me Five at Stud 520m, will be an interesting race to watch with distance changes for regular Albion Park stayers and .

Tony Zammit has decided to drop the distance to 520m for his bitch One Missing, who won very convincingly last Thursday over 710m to beat consistent greyhound Irish Fantasy.

Also, Reg Hazelgrove's Black Ruler will have a second run over 520m, dropping back last week from 600m to run last in a field of seven.

Despite the class of these two greyhounds the race should be fought out by , Iron Steed and Spell Fire.

Other racing on Thursday night to watch will be The Molly Campbell Stand Novice over 520m (race one).

It will be only the second start for the well-bred Black Peregrine, who is by Black Enforcer and out of Bogie Leigh.

The dog had his first start to win for trainer Vicki Wisener on Monday 27 October at Albion Park from box five, winning by nine lengths from Skittles.

Other proven greyhounds over the track and distance in this race include LikeThe Look in box seven, High Class Broad from box one, and Super Itch in box six.

And Queensland greyhounds are continuing to test the southern states' best.

Queen Lauryn will start from box two in the Group One Sapphire Crown at Park after winning her heat very convincingly last Thursday.

She heads into the race an early $2.30 favourite.
