Right Time Reclaims Strathalbyn Track Record

Trainer topped of a big week in greyhound racing after qualifying his star chaser Hope's Up for the Sprint final on Thursday night his other kennel star Right Time reclaimed his 536m on Sunday in a brilliant display of speed.

Right Time began nicely from box 1 to dominate his rivals throughout the event going on to win by 14 lengths in a sizzling 30.71 bettering the previous mark of 30.77 set by Rock Pepper.

Right Time held the track record from January last year until Rock Pepper's performance in August this year.

Right Time has been in sizzling form recently at Strathalbyn going with in .01 of the record two weeks ago and now looks one of the main chances for the final to be held later this year in November.

Right Time has now won 15 races from 33 starts with 7 placings and prizemoney in excess of $13,000.

And to think it wasn’t even a ‘fast’ track last night. What time could he run on a lightning surface. The mind boggles. He is a brilliant greyhound and a pleasure to watch. Congrats to Cam and Yvonne. He won the ‘Members Cup’ to break the record supporting their local track.
