TAB Punters Bet On Record Falling In Hobart At National Championships
Miata is aiming to add another track record to her list of achievements when she competes in the National Distance Final on Saturday night.
She broke the 599 record in a trial last week and is set to sizzle again according to TAB punters.
TAB has opened a market on whether both records will be broken in the finals.
“There has been great support for exactly one record to be broken, with punters expecting Miata to be the one to do it,” said TAB's Matt Jenkins.
Both records to be broken is $6.50 and has attracted some interest, while no record broken is the favourite.
TRACK RECORDS BROKEN IN FINALS
$1.55 NO track record broken
$2.70 EXACTLY ONE track record broken
$6.50 EXACTLY TWO track records broken
National Sprint and Distance finals only.
One record pre race, placegetters do not count.
Moves in the Distance final
MIATA ($1.30 to $1.38) has been easy in the distance final with punters shopping for value.
HE KNOWS UNO ($7.50 into $5) is easily the best backed runner.
Smaller interest in Jethro ($12) and Bell Haven ($12).
Moves in the Sprint final
EXCLUSIVE ONE ($3 into $2.80) attracting the majority of early support.
FABREGAS ($3 out to $3.20) has been easy despite trailing the quickest of all competitors.
Very little support for anything else in the race.
