Perth the next stop for Ennis and red-hot team

had a massive night at Park on Thursday, winning four races including both events, the (595 metres) and the Australian Sprint (515 metres).

In the Maidment Memorial, Lady Toy (1) showed plenty of class, holding her position on the rails before sneaking up on the inside of the leader on the home turn, assuming the lead and drawing clear in 34.13.

Lady Toy joined Ennis' kennel only last weekend, but seems to have adjusted to her new surroundings well. The unfashionably bred daughter of Our Toyman and Railway Shiraz has now won 12 of her 49 starts with 23 minor placings and $106,677 in prizemoney earnings.

Ennis' other runner in that race, Blinker's On (3), ran fifth.

In the Australian Sprint, My Bro Fabio (8) bounced back from his last-start defeat, unleashing a powerful mid-race burst after a slow start.

The son of and Flamenco hooked to the outside down the back and continued to circle the field from out wide as he turned for home. Once he balanced up in the straight, the black dog stormed past kennel-mate Dream It (5) to score in a slick 29.27.

It was My Bro Fabio's second start back since November last year when he finished third in a Listed race on Melbourne Cup night. He was nominated for the heats of the One soon after, but had to be scratched due to a hock injury.

The victory took the powerful chaser's record to 22 wins from 45 starts with more than $219,325 banked throughout his career.

Ennis' other winners were Cash and Margins, which won in 29.92 and 29.49 respectively.

Team Ennis is now expected to head west, with the heats of the Group One and the being held next Saturday night.

The testing 530-metre Cannington circuit looks an ideal trip for the big-striding My Bro Fabio, so he should be a leading contender going into that series. He will be joined by his talented kennel-mate Deadly Vane, a winner of 17 races.

Lady Toy and Blinker's On are likely to be entered for the Galaxy, run over the staying trip.

The finals of the Perth Cup and Galaxy will be run on February 7 and offer $140,000 and $80,000 to the-winner respectively.

Unfortunately after September we don’t know if it was due to good training or not. Should have got the same sentence as Vass. Virtually the same cases.
