Interim GRNSW CEO Open Forum

Greyhound interim CEO Paul Newson has invited all greyhound participants to a special meeting to be held at Cessnock Showgrounds (old race track) this Sunday 8th March at 1pm.

Participants will have an opportunity to address their concerns and Newson will give an overview of where the sport of greyhound racing is heading in the state of NSW.

Space Star's brilliant run of form continued on Saturday night at The Meadows, as the two-time Group One winner blew his rivals away in a heat of the Group One Superstayers series over 725m. Exiting from box one, the son of and notched up his 6th consecutive victory and 20th win of his career from start number 31 and posted a new time of 41.93. Trainer Robert Britton held the record previously with one of his charges, Nellie Noodles, after a time of 42.03 was set back in April of 2010.

A repeat mating between and is guaranteed to attract plenty of observers over the coming months. Breeder Noelene Holloway is nursing seven health pups (5 dogs, 2 bitches), which are almost three months old. Fascinate Marina's first litter to Lochinvar Marlow, born in August of 2011 include Queen Marina (NSW Distance Champion), Queen Esther (Winner of 21 races and over $100,000 in prize money), Zac Marlow (22.26 over 400m at ), Mike Marlow (29.77 over 515m at ) and Fascinate Mary (22.79 over 400m at Gosford).

Fascinate Marina had a litter of 7 pups to Spring Gun, which are 17 months old and are just starting to hit the race track.
