What you may have missed: Space Star shines; CEO to hold Q&A

Interim GRNSW CEO Open Forum

Greyhound Racing NSW interim CEO Paul Newson has invited all greyhound participants to a special meeting to be held at Cessnock Showgrounds (old race track) this Sunday 8th March at 1pm.

Participants will have an opportunity to address their concerns and Newson will give an overview of where the sport of greyhound racing is heading in the state of NSW.

Worth A Replay

Space Star’s brilliant run of form continued on Saturday night at The Meadows, as the two-time Group One winner blew his rivals away in a heat of the Group One Superstayers series over 725m. Exiting from box one, the son of Bekim Bale and Tonto Tears notched up his 6th consecutive victory and 20th win of his career from start number 31 and posted a new track record time of 41.93. Trainer Robert Britton held the record previously with one of his charges, Nellie Noodles, after a time of 42.03 was set back in April of 2010.
