Bannerman Caps Off A Purple Patch At Canberra

Travelling greyhounds Ariek Mirage and Jumpin' Canary continued their trainers good affiliation with the Nation's Capital circuit, both producing quality runs.

Canberra based greyhounds Millie's Me Mum and Sutton Tiger both booked their tickets in this weekend's $1,000 final after smart wins, Millie's Me Mum for the fastest qualifier in a sweet 30.66.

In the 440 metre heats it was High Fees for Keith Morgan and March Maiden for so go through as best qualifiers in the Valley Tavern series.

In her first crack at the distance March Maiden notched up her second win in a row in the smart 25.66.

The final two events on the card saw Jodie Gilbert's Cawbourne Sienna and Alan Tutt's take home the chocolates in 18.20 and 18.05 runs respectively.
