AGRA releases it’s 2015/16 Group racing calendar
THE Australian Greyhound Racing Association (AGRA) has released it's 2015/16 group race calendar, with Queensland and Victoria the big winners.
Queensland will see eight of their group races prize money increase, with the greatest being a $25,000 rise in both the Winter Cup and Brisbane cup, now worth $100,000 to each winner.
Victorian participants also have plenty of reasons to smile, with 11 group races increasing in prize money. Most notable is the Group 2 Launching Pad, increased by $15,000, with the winner set to receive $155,000.
The only increase for NSW is $10,000 extra to the winner of the Group 2 Richmond Oaks now worth $40,000 to the winner, while Western Australia and Tasmania had no prize money changes.
The changes to the prize money structure for upcoming feature races are listed below.
