Que Sera Sera Dissapoints In Easter Egg Heats

Punters who stuck their necks outs and backed in the Golden Easter Egg Heats would've needed more than a healthy dose of Doris Day's famous song to get them over their woes last Saturday night.

The Cool x bitch who won the 2 Adelaide Oaks back in September 2007 and the Saphirre Crown at in November 2007, was found wanting as soon as lids opened in Heat 6 of the 2008 .

Starting in the top 10 favourites with the 2008 Golden Easter Egg pre post markets at $21, and opening a warm $2.60 favourite on the TAB's, she eased slightly in betting to start second favourite in the race behind Mountain Of Love.

Those who read our exclusive article regarding Que Sera Sera's chances in her heat of “The Egg” would've known to steer clear, but there were plenty who did their cash cold.

Coming out a conspicuous last at boxrise and never improving at any stage of the race, she finished a well beaten 12 1/4 lengths last and raced like a tired animal with a finishing time of 30.96. The stewards report draws a blank as the run was never queried or vetted and no mention of any interference at any stage.

Suprisingly, Que Sera Sera's next assignment will be a Free For All event at Sandown this Thursday 13th March 2008 and has drawn recent winner and in form winner Whippy's Image.

Based on Saturday night's run she'll need plenty of luck.
