Latest aircraft line scan showed negligible fire activity along the northern edge around the communities of Reedy Creek, Strath Creek and Flowerdale.
However there may be pockets of unburnt areas and due to the forecast for increasing winds fire activity may increase within the fire boundary. Where resources allow, CFA and DSE crews will monitor and respond to these incidents.
Communities in the Goulburn River Valley between Homewood and Seymour, including Homewood Kerrisdale, Trawool and Tallarook need to be aware and should remain vigilant and continue to listen to 774 ABC radio or local stations for updates.
Be prepared to activate your bushfire survival plan if necessary.
Drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration.
There may be increased amounts of smoke in the area from this fire.
