We have to wait until the last race of the evening to find the best bet of the day in Who Gives, but at least all multi wagers going into him still live should be odds-on to cash in. He was again sensational when stopping the clock at 17.17 seconds last week when clearing Class 3 company. That time was made to look even better when you consider how cold it was on that occasion, but he certainly set the track alight with that dominant performance. He was beaten from this box the last time he drew out in the pink rug, but that was when he was still learning about the racing game and he should set that record straight here.

Next Best Bet: Pure Bedlam (Race 10)
The high-quality chaser Pure Bedlam is set to continue the dominance of the Fahey kennels when he steps out in race 10. He took one run to acclimatise to racing in the highest grade three starts back and since then has won two on the bounce, with his last-start effort being by far the most impressive when leading all the way and posting a very quick 17.03 seconds on a cold night. He has just gone from strength to strength since arriving from Australia, and apart from his debut mishap at Ascot Park last July he has looked nothing but a potential top-class chaser. He can further enhance that reputation this evening.

Best Value Bet: Goldstar Carlito (Race 7)
The value of the night could be Goldstar Carlito returning to distance racing. He was doing his best work late last start over the 520m but had to settle for second place behind the vastly improved Opawa Conan, who broke 30 seconds, so it is no wonder Goldstar Carlito couldn't run him down. He has an empty box to his inside and Know Keeper, who is normally a slow trapper, to his outside, so he should have all the room he needs to accelerate quickly and hopefully find the top before that sharp turn comes up into the straight for the first time. Once he gets a glimpse of the lure there are few that chase as hard as this fellow, and he could lead them all the way. Keep an eye on the time.
