Heidi Benz is armed with slick early speed and she should get every chance to return to form in this event. There is a little bit of speed in this event but if she can reproduce her 5.56 sectional from January she should have enough speed to lead and if she does find the lead she will prove hard to reel in.

Silky Oak is showing plenty of promise and she was far from disgraced when placed behind the speedy Black Model at Ipswich last time. The box draw isn't great tonight but she should follow Heidi Benz across early and she will continue to improve with every run.

Smashniak Cloud is hit or miss early but he is capable of good things when he hits, three starts back he reeled off impressive sectionals when posting a zippy 30.13 win here.

Rockaway Beach rounds out the hopes, he doesn't possess great early speed but he has the right draw and he will be strong in the run to the line.

Knocker has won three of six over this trip previously and he is armed with sizzling early speed. He can miss the kick at times but he has a slow beginner directly on his outside and that should allow him to drive through into a commanding position at the first bend. He appears to be hitting the line better after every 500m hit out and I think with a clear run tonight he could go sub 30 seconds.

Kingsbrae Nelly is another chaser with high speed and she loves racing here. After a couple of luckless runs at Wentworth park she returned to form with a handy 30.36 victory over this track and trip.

Tiny Turbo is drawn to get a nice cart across and early and he could be the value in the event. Four starts back he caught the eye with a strong 30.33 win here and he is always in the mix.

Radley Return is probably the most talented chaser in the race but she can do a lot of things wrong, if she can get away cleanly she should run a monster race.

Cosmic Split appears to be a star in the making and with an ounce of luck early he should continue on his winning way. Since moving from Victoria he has had two runs for two devastating wins in sub 30 seconds. On both occasions he was airborne early and he never looked in doubt, if given room in the first 40-metres he should zoom to the early lead and continue on his winning way.

Magic Maiden has a serious engine and she has won four of her ten tries here all in fast times. She generally begins quite well and she likes to scout wide in her races, so with a clear passage early she should be able to make an impact.

Pictures Pearce has the talent to be a nuisance and he recently won here in 30.28. He is likely to settle mid-field but he will hit the line solidly and if the leaders happen to bunch up he may run over the top late.

Elusive Desire is a powerful chaser and if he can avoid bother at the first turn he will take a power of beating. He isn't the best of beginners but he does muster well and if he can settle in the top four he should be close enough to score. He has won four of 13 here overall and he does own a slick 29.96 PB when coming from off the speed.

Lotus Blossom is drawn to set a cracking pace and she should give a great sight. Prior to her last start defeat her she had posted two devastating 431-metre Ipswich wins and on both occasions she broke the magical 25 second barrier. I'm not convinced that she will run a strong 500-metres but if she gets away mid-race she might just steal the prize.

Mal Rose Hi is very strong and he is never far away in his races, he will look to get wide in the early stages but if he can balance up midfield he should run home into the placings.

Surfin' Sue rounds out the legitimate chances, she has the speed to lead but she will get tired late, so she is a must for the exotics.

Up The Attitude is racing in sizzling form at present and he should be able to lead from go to whoa. Last week he went through the first marker in an eye popping 5.52 before he gapped a quality lineup and posted a slick 29.98 overall. He has two poor box dogs on either side so he should be afforded all the breaks in the run to the first turn.

Kingsbrae Lavina is another smart beginner and she has broken the 30 second barrier here previously. With a clean getaway she should be able to settle in the top two early and that should allow her to finish in the placings.

Stella Nights powered to the line in her top 35.02 win here over 600-metres last time and she will be storming home again, I think she will get too far back to score but she could be a good anchor for third and fourth in your exotics.

Knave could be the value, he will go around at big odds but he has the ability to finish in the minor money.

Yada Yada Yada is in career best form having won four of his past five. Last time out he roared through the first turn and never looked back when posting an impressive 30.02 heat win. Of tonight's finalists he was one of the quickest to the first mark and if he can repeat that effort he should hold them out and score.

Fast Bean is very hit or miss at box rise, but if he gets away he should match motors with the three. He has won here previously in a zippy 30.06 and if he goes around at silly odds he could be worth an each way ticket.

Blue I Am is armed with a great turn of speed and he has won two of four tries here. He will need some luck to get across but if he does he will make his presence felt.

Dashing Man is a long way from his best but he does hit the line hard and he could be a good anchor for third and fourth in exotics.

Iva Vision has been desperately unlucky in his past three starts and he looks poised to return to the winner's list. Four starts back he smashed a handy lineup in his 29.93 win here and he does own a blistering 29.62 PB here, with a clear run early he should make light work of this lineup.

Farmer's Gold is likely to bomb the start and that should work in his as it will allow him to find the rail soon after box rise. The best part of his race is his mid-race pace and if the gaps open at the right time he should be able to take it right up to the favourite.

Dream River is super versatile and the pink draw should be an advantage tonight, he normally steps fairly but he musters at a great rate and I can see him settling in the top three early.

Grand Roman and Late Angel lee both must be respected, both have big engines and they just need some luck early to feature.

Visualize it has come up with the good draw and if she finds the lure early she should dash away and score with ease. She can be a little unreliable at box rise but she does have great speed and the two and three should give her some room as they hit the first bend. She has a brilliant 29.87 PB and her rivals won't pick her up if she is running near that time.

Hougenie recently set the Ipswich track alight with a breathtaking 30.24 win and she is ideally placed in the pink draw. Her record here over 500-metres isn't spectacular but her 600-metre record is impeccable and this isn't an overly strong race.

Spanish Queen has speed to burn and she could run a cheeky race at odds, her form has tapered off a little of late but she is much better than that.

Rose Of Galo also can't be forgotten, she has had two runs from a lengthy spell and she should be ready to fire.

Spookie's Gift has been a little costly in recent weeks but there is no doubting his talent and he looks perfectly placed in the pink draw. There isn't a whole lot of speed in this event so if he can step cleanly he should be able to swoop into the lead at the first bend. He has a smart 30.01 PB here but I think if he finds the lure early tonight he is capable of going much faster.

Super Velo has a great record here and he hasn't had much luck in his three runs from a spell. If he can get away on terms tonight he should drive through into a threatening position and he will make his presence felt.

This Time Reba was a slick 30.03 winner here four runs back and she shouldn't be too far away again. She can be a little risky at box rise but if given room to drive through she could get up at nice odds.

Classy Haze is returning to town and if he is he should put a space in them. His box manners are always a concern but he does muster extremely well and he has the benefit of a wide runner drawn directly on his outside. He looks really well graded in this event and he should get the cash.

Hannah Marie is a reliable beginner and she should give a great sight, she was far from disgraced when placed here last week and she will give them something to catch if she lands on the lure.

Hope's Fantasy is dropping in class and she can show smart early speed in her races, she is likely to be around the $7 mark tonight with William Hill and that is good value.

Chariot's Offiah is struggling for form but the rails draw is an advantage, if he could regain some of his old form he could make an impact at good odds.
