Good race to start the night and I think the highly talented Galilee Spirit can cause a minor upset. He has been racing with little luck of late and last week his run here when finishing midfield was better than it looked. Last week he was almost across and if he found the lead I think he would have gone close to scoring, tonight Gun Mcbain should carve up the inside division early and that should allow him to get the fly as they head for the back straight.

Wild Soul is a gun and he rarely runs a bad race, from the red he should hold a fairly prominent position early and if he gets into some open space off the back straight he will prove extremely hard to hold out.

Allen Illem returned to form with a strong 30.21 win here and he must be included in your exotic bets, he will get too far back early to win but he is a great place prospect.

Gun Mcbain is absolutely flying and if he holds out Galilee Spirit he becomes a serious winning chance.

Long Gully Mark turned in a monster effort here on Monday night and if he reproduces a similar effort tonight he will prove extremely hard to hold out. After a fair getaway he made a strong move mid race and as they reached the line he was able to get within a length and half of Babylon Club and they posted a sizzling 29.92. From the red he should hold a forward spot early and if he can get through the bend unscathed he appears to be a good bet.

Dr. Kiaralee has the speed to cross and lead and she should give a nice sight. Four starts back she was a commanding winner here in 30.21 and she followed that effort up with a narrowly beaten placing here in sub 30 seconds.

Antonio Tyson is another front runner and he should look a big chance for a long way, his last 40m is pretty ordinary but if he breaks them up off the back he may be able to pinch the event.

Lektra Kelly comes over from Victoria and her only win came at in a solid 29.92, that type of form would see her be competitive in this.

There are a few chances in this event but if Spring Tyson comes out running it should be all over, last time out she was pressured soon after the start and she then found bother, tonight's race doesn't feature a lot of early speed so she should get all the breaks. Three starts back she posted an impressive all the way win here in 30.03 and she appears to be getting better and stronger with every start.

Woodside Jagger is extremely hard to follow but if he steps on terms he has enough speed to put himself into contention. Last time out he was placed behind the in form Gun Mcbain and a similar effort tonight will see him finish in the top three.

Quick Kisses is well drawn out wide and she has been racing in consistent style, if she can avoid early bother she could be the value.

Wowza Lee is worth watching, he didn't have much luck in his SA debut but he is in good hands and an improved run is expected.

Similar lineup to last week and the result should be the same. Luna Jinx has returned to racing in great style having won three of her five starts and two of those wins were in sizzling times. She shouldn't receive too much pressure in the early stages and I can almost see her leading this event. If she happens to lead it will be interesting to see what she can put .

Psychotic Gold is third up from a spell and she should now be at peak fitness. She has won 11 of 21 over this journey and she will be suited by the small field, there is probably around two and a half lengths talent wise between her and the favourite so it will come down to whoever comes out best.

Zara Mclaren has a great record here and she looks likely to fill the Trifecta spot, I can't see her winning but second or third is within reach.

Dakota Premier is likely to start a short priced favourite in this event but I think he is a big risk. There is a heap of speed drawn directly outside him and also in the middle, so he may get shuffled back in the early stages. Sporting Tears has the speed to cross and he was far from disgraced when placed here last week. If he can find the bunny early he should be running some time and I can't see them reeling him in.

Yambla Mick is another who can show speed and he does have a slick 29.91 PB here, if he can settle in the top three early he should be there at the end.

Dakota Premier is a gun and he has at least four lengths on his nearest rival talent wise, I'm just very concerned about the draw and I think place claims look best for him.

Breaker Kahn is well drawn nearer the inside and he is better than his recent runs suggests, he must be included in your exotic bets.

Farmeroo is back in form and with a clean getaway tonight he should notch up a hat trick of wins. In recent weeks he has led all the way in both victories and on each occasion he has gone sub 30 seconds, there isn't much speed drawn around him tonight and that should allow him to push through and hold them out as they head into the first bend.

Set The Scene is extremely hard to follow but he is a super talent when on song, if he can settle in the top five early he should be able to unleash a big sprint off the back straight and that will allow him to challenge in the home straight.

Young Gun Mcbain has the good draw and he should have the sit on Farmeroo for most of the journey, he hasn't been able to grab him in there past two starts so place claims look best again.

Fancy Rick will start favourite and he is a chance but from the middle pin he is going to need a lot of things to go his way.

Van Carrho Flash is armed with devastating early speed and he was far from disgraced when placed here last week. On that occasion he set a cracking pace and he was only grabbed in the shadows of the post by the classy Blue Viper. From the wide draw he should get plenty of room to muster speed tonight and with the lack of speed around him he should be able to get a very cheap lead. If he finds the bunny early tonight I can't see them reeling him in.

Allen Zentax was very unlucky here last time and he could run an improved race at nice odds, he got knocked over as he was about to lead last start but he picked himself up and came again in the straight, if the favourite makes a mistake early he should be there to capitalise.

Firecette has scored two powerful wins here in recent weeks and he will be charging home again, this is a step up in class but he should have no trouble adapting.

Better Call Saul is another who can show improvement, he is much better than his recent form reads and he only needs some luck early.

Tough race but if Boojerooma shows her best she should get the cash, last week she was squeezed out soon after the start but she showed great mid race pace to get into contention. If she can avoid early bother tonight she should assume control mid race and she will then prove far too strong for her rivals in the run home.

Chilliwack is the likely leader and she should give a great sight, she has scored two solid wins here of late and she should continue to get stronger with every run.

Couta Model is another aiming for a hat trick of wins and she is drawn to figure prominently. Her previous two wins have come from this pin and she is another who appears to be getting stronger with every run.

Oran Bale is the run on type in the event, she is well drawn out wide and she could be a good anchor for third and fourth in your exotic bets.

Beach Wary has excelled since coming from Victoria and his 35.12 win here three runs back was super impressive. He hasn't faired too well by the box draw but he is surrounded by slow beginners and if he can step cleanly that should allow him to settle in the top two or three as they head into the straight the first time.

He's A Villian returned to the winners list with a strong 30.18 win here over the sprint trip and he is probably better suited to this distance range, from the rails draw I can see him pushing through and holding the early lead. If Beach Wary happens to find trouble I would expect him to be off and gone with the prize.

Cool Duke has the good draw and he should be in the mix for a long way, he isn't overly strong but he should be able to hold on for a place.

Victa Victoria rounds out the chances, she is much better than her form reads and if she gets out into some open space she has the talent to upset the two favourites.

Bon Choix has been desperately unlucky since returning from a spell and with the lack of speed drawn on her outside she should get her chance to regain some confidence. She has only won one of 14 but in her brief career she has turned in some terrific performances, this is a pretty weak event and she should get every chance.

Alex Tyson has the good draw and if he can step cleanly he should be in the mix for most of the trip, Red Can will move right soon after box rise so he should get all the breaks in the run to the first turn.

Dakota Fancy is another blessed with a heap of talent and she only needs some luck in the early stages. In November she posted a slick 29.95 win here and a repeat of that would see her prove hard to hold out.
