Blue Viper has won five of eight over this journey and she looks well placed in this event. Tonight she has slow beginners drawn on either side and with a clean getaway she should have enough speed to hold them out.

Bogie Classic is well placed in the pink and she was a recent winner here in a more than handy 30.14, she normally begins well in her races and she is very fast when on the bunny, if she can reproduce her 29.86 PB run she will be a major player.

Allen Illem is never far away in these types of events and he will be steaming home again.

Beach Wary is the interesting runner, he recently scored a brilliant 29.83 Mount Gambier win and he didn't have much luck in his Angle Park debut, with a clear run early tonight I would expect him to show a lot of improvement.

Velocity Saphire is an improving type and she is due to break through again. She has been placed in her past two tries here behind two classy performers and if she can hold them out again tonight I think she should have enough in the tank to hold on.

All Silver was a strong 30.87 winner two runs back and she has the ability to ping the lids in her races. If she happens to settle in the top two early she may prove too strong in the run home.

Montgomery Road doesn't win very often but he is never far away, he is likely to be posted wide for most of the journey but he will charge home and he may snag some minor money.

Dyna Drama has improved immensely of late and she must be respected, the draw doesn't help her tonight but she has early speed and she should put herself into contention.

Zara Mclaren is currently in career best form and it's hard to see her being beaten off the red. From the draw she should be able to push through early and settle in a much more prominent position. With Miss Party Girl and Handsome Blue expected to set the pace, she should sit just behind them and then pick them off late in the race.

Mclaren Grace is another run on prospect and she showed a return to form when placed here last time out. I dont think she can win but she is a great prospect for your exotic bets.

Miss Party Girl is racing consistently and she should lead for a long way, her last 50m isn't great but she should have a nice lead mid race.

Long Gully Surf is better than his recent form reads and he may be able to show some improvement in the small field.

Dyna Erwin is well down on form and confidence but tonight he exits his favourite draw and he should get a nice cart across from Grande To Excel in the early stages. He is a very fast chaser when given room early and if he sights the bunny he will give a great sight at odds.

Grande To Excel had no luck at all last time but prior to that he did post a convincing 30.25 win here. There isn't much speed underneath tonight so he should get a fairly cheap lead.

Cosmo Kramer has an enormous engine and if he happens to avoid early bother he will prove very hard to hold out.

Illusive Allen has the good draw and she has been placed in her past two runs here, she hasn't won for a while but she does have a speedy 29.92 PB and this is one of the weakest races she has contested for a while.

High Market is an enormous talent and if he gets across at the first bend he should put a space in them. Since coming from Victoria he has won two of three here over 515m and on both occasions we went sub 30 seconds. He has won over 650m previously at so he should have no trouble running out the trip.

El Tren Bala is very hard to follow but he returned to form here last Wednesday when winning in a zippy 35.12. He doesn't always show his best but if he is switched on tonight he will be right in the mix.

Aeroplane Bowser broke through for a well deserved win here on Monday over 515m in 30.11 and he is better suited to this trip. He will need some luck early but he will prove hard to hold out if he gets it.

Dyna Arceus rounds out the chances, he is much better than his form reads and he should give a sight at odds.

Eye Smith hasn't had much luck since scoring at in 28.14 last month and I'm expecting a much better performance tonight. With slow beginners all around him he should be able to bounce on the bunny and he should prove far too speedy for this lot. He has a slick 30.04 PB here and if he reproduces that he will prove extremely hard to reel in.

Spring Charlotte is dropping a little in class and she was a strong 30.26 winner here two runs back, if she can avoid early bother from the squeeze box she should be there at the business end.

Flying Bale is better suited to a wider draw but he should still get a fairly clear passage in the early stages, he has a top record here and he will be very strong in the run to the line.

Animate is aiming for three in a row and she will be steaming home late, she races better over the longer journey but she is still a must for your exotic bets.

Premier Event has been a bit of a money muncher since coming to SA but I think he is well placed in this event. He is hit or miss early but he does possess a dazzling turn of foot and if he happens to find the bunny early he will be running time. He has slow beginners drawn all around him so I think he should get all the breaks tonight.

Flying Tee has the class edge and he was a sizzling 22.19 winner here over 388m when resuming from a spell, he has a brilliant record over this journey and he should take a power of beating.

Zac Bale is well placed out wide and he was far from disgraced when placed here last week, if they happen to shuffle up underneath him he may just get the fly.

Great race and I think we can find some value with the speedy Black Bottle. He is a very reliable beginner and he has turned in some fantastic efforts here in recent months. I'm expecting him to find the early lead and when Set The Scene spears wide at the first turn and takes out the field, that should leave him with at least a five length lead.

Stew's Mistake is back to his brilliant best and although he is poorly drawn he must still be respected, he is armed with a blistering turn of foot and he might just be able to rail up through the first turn and sit on the back of Black Bottle.

Set The Scene has won three on the trot and if he avoids early bother he simply wins, however he does a lot of things wrong in his races and he will need a few things to go his way.

Wild Soul is all class and he must not be forgotten about, he will be steaming home late and he seems to always find a way to put himself into contention.

He's A Villian bas a great record over this trip and he is suited by the smaller field. With a clean getaway he should be able to settle in the top two early and I would then expect him to put a space in them mid race.

Funky Chicken was placed at his only try here over this journey and he has enough speed to lead, I dont think he can hold out He's A Villian but he should have enough in the tank to secure the quinella spot. As It Goes is the only other chance, she is racing a little below her best but she has broken 35 seconds here and she can ping the lids in her races.

Very open race but the talented Woodside Jagger is due for a change of luck. Two starts ago he led for a long way when placed behind the classy Set The Scene and if he happens to find the bunny tonight I can't see him being run down.

Nevada Smith looks the likely leader in the first 50m and he was a strong 30.40 winner here two runs back, he has won seven of 31 tries here and he should finish in the top two.

Red Line Lad is better than his form reads and if he gets some luck mid race he should make a big impact, he is likely to be nice value so he may be worth a saver bet.

Red Tin can be hard to follow but he is very fast when on the lure, he can give a big sight if he happens to step away and cross.

Brazen Bull is fairly inexperienced but he appears to be getting better with every run and if he can show the form which saw him win at in 30.59, he will prove very hard to hold out.

Midway Magic is super consistent and she will be charging home at the end, she tends to find one better than her on most occasions but she is just about a lock to finish top three.

Max Tyson was a tad disappointing here last week but he has the speed to lead and he may prove hard to reel in.

Noren Bale is the only other winning hope, he will hit the line strongly and if the leaders bunch up he may just swoop over the top in the home straight.
